I'm surprised they even thought to reference F-ZERO at all. Hopefully it'll get us a new actual F-ZERO game (no it won't). I am getting a Smash Bros. vibe from these icons. It's almost like Nintendo took Wii Play and Smash Bros. together to create Nintendo Land. Doesn't like, everything give you a Smash Bros. vibe?

Well, it still makes sense in that context. As in, why the fuck art thou...created and then taken away, perhaps?
Anywho, this makes sense as a pack-in. I think Nintendo is attempting to win over everyone with this game. Ninty fans, the Wii Sports casuals, the people who don't play games much. However, they've also got a high risk of alienating EVERYONE. If it's a pack-in, it would lessen that possibility significantly.

Who'd've thought we'd be waiting this long for another F-Zero title anyway? (Nothing since 2004, FYI. And not even one DS game.)
Can't they at least remake F-Zero X on the 3DS? That would do a better job at getting people to know what F-Zero is again, than some Nintendo Land minigame would.

New info from Game Informer. Copy/Pasta from GafMetroid Blast Metroid Blast up to 5 players. Wii Game Pad is Samus ship (might feature other types of machines), and 4 players can play in free-for-all or team deathmatch. Pointer and analog controls supported. Several maps! Classic Metroid music. You will smile.
Metroid Blast.. also seems to have a horde type mode? Go through waves of enemies as a group.EDIT: more info - ride a small train to and from attractions - spend coins in the hub that you've earned by playing attractions - winning pachinko games populates the park with Nintendo memorabilia - this includes Miis in Zelda costumes - Metroid Blast has everyone dress up in Samus' armor - one player flies Samus' ship using the GamePad and screen - 4 Wii MotionPlus players (plus Nunchuk) try to shoot down the ship - no radar available - includes a lava-filled Norfair map - this map features a mechanical Kraid that players can grapple up - Metroid Blaster (typo of blast?) requires Wii MotionPlus(This is definilty an upgraded Battle Mii from E3 2011, not that there is anything wrong with that, Im happy they got it up to 5 players.) Link to magazine scans (should I be linking this?)And Balloon Fight game revealed! Balloon Trip Breeze Similar to Balloon Fight Players guide floating Miss (typo of Mii's mostlikely) through side-scrolling levels filled with obstacles like electric spikes, crazy birds, and hungry fish. Use stylus to draw gusts of wind to direct the Mii Goal is to fly as far as you can. TV shows complete view of the field, GamePad shows zoomed in for precise dodging. Nintendo hopes the game breeds competition through Miiverse

Honestly, I am warming up to Nintendo Land. Now if they would show videos or screenshots of the other games we didn't see at E3.

Honestly, I am warming up to Nintendo Land. Now if they would show videos or screenshots of the other games we didn't see at E3. Well, lookie here, Balloon Trip Breeze footage!Notes - Use the stylus to control the balloon fighter character - Can tap on Gamepad screen to clear (red) spiked obstacles and also stone blocks (which remind me of ones from SMB) - Appear to be power ups that can be obtained - Returning elements from BF include, the bird enemies, bubbles, and what appears to be a giant fish (but blue coloured) - Strong gusts of wind are also a new obstacle - BF character is seen with a stone block attached to him (her?) that adds more weight to the character causing them to fall faster.

I just love Balloon Fight, I can't wait to play this game. Too bad there's no Star Fox game, but I'll take what I can get.

New trailer. This entire game is a pack in with the Deluxe Wii U package (outside of Japan)
- The Pikmin game appears to have the 4 TV players be one Pikmin each while the Gamepad player is Olimer, who can throw them about.
- Zelda: Battle Quest, appears to only support 3 TV players (with swords) and 1 archer with the gamepad. But still puts the gamepads viewpoint on the TV screen (Why?, why can't we have a 4th sword player?)
- Ridley appears in Metroid Blast
- Mario Chase and Luigi’s Ghost Mansion appear to have more than 1 stage to play on.

Are there any games in nintendo Land that aren't revamped tech demos? I find that aspect pretty cool.

Well, not Nintendo Land, but Shield Pose from 2011 is one of the games in Game & Wario. The pirate has a very appropriate Wario like design now.
