Looking at the logos makes me think of how cool a motion controlled version of the Yoshi's Story melon balancing could be.

Are there any games in nintendo Land that aren't revamped tech demos? I find that aspect pretty cool. Well . . . considering a real lack of tech demos shown at the previous E3's, there isn't that many. Shit, the idea of Nintendo Land "Nintendo themed minigame package" could has been in development long before E3 2011. The only tech demos were Battle Mii (Metroid Clash), Chase Mii (Mario Chase) and then Shield Pose (as previosuly mentioned) and that "Line drawing game"* was intergrated into Game & Wario. * Watch that video, it's awesome. Other details -No online multiplayer, everything is local. (Might be online leaderboards? There is some sort of Miiverse intergration?) Footage of Pikmin Adventure, (has a sort of cubey design (Gamecube pun?) and gashapon/capsule toy like effects for enemies.

The Takamaru game is from a WiiU tech demo from last year, as well.

A great way to unite both casual and core audiences too? You bet your ass! Well, we'll see, but still...

If Nintendo Land is successful, maybe Nintendo could make a sequel featuring new attractions based on their other IP's. ;D

There's a racing mini game and Nintendo made it single player? Facepalm.

It feels as if they're treating C. Falcon's minigame like a beta test towards what would one day become a WiiU F-Zero.

It feels as if they're treating C. Falcon's minigame like a beta test towards what would one day become a WiiU F-Zero. We can only hope it'll happen for sure. What actually disturbs me is the lack of Star Fox. Miis with hats of Fox and friends in Arwings gunning down either each other or waves of enemies, and the gamepad user would use the Great Fox... Oh well, there's always a possible sequel later on.

It feels as if they're treating C. Falcon's minigame like a beta test towards what would one day become a WiiU F-Zero. I hope not. Holding a Utablet (have we come up with a 'Wiimote'-esque abbreviation for the Wii U Tablet yet?) upwards like a steering wheel might be ok for a proof of concept minigame, but as a full game? I don't know about that.

There's a racing mini game and Nintendo made it single player? Facepalm. It's been known it's single player only for a while and not much of it has really been shown. Apart from this one video from E3. I hope not. (This name also made sense because the Wii U controller was flat, like the aforementioned controller.) . . . ""

I believe Nintendo can't call Wii Remotes "Wiimotes" is because of another company has the trademark (Since 2000) for " Weemote" Which while spelt differently is still pronounced the same. And yes, the company behind did try legal action but failed because Nintendo themselves does not use the term. (more info at the wiki page) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weemote

Wow that Yoshi game is the worst looking. They didn't even bother to put in some sort of neat pattern on the ground... its just empty green.
