Hi everyone,
( I am a long time lurker in the forums - I usually stay in the smash bros. one. I have followed this forum since long before brawl was released and joined two years ago
if you care to know)
One thing that I have always felt would be awesome was a compilation of all the news for super smash bros. in one place
kind of like a database for anything involving Super Smash Bros. outside of the game itself.
Post anything current past present here.
Important information should be first.
You can include rumors too but state that they were or are.
IMPORTANT: please try to include links/copies or state where they were from.
Usually the closer it gets to the games release the more people argue about what happened or was said to influence the last few games or the current one.
I have searched for what Sakurai had said exactly about retro characters in the past.
Its common knowledge that he considered mach rider and balloon fighter but I did not realize the list included urban champion & exitebiker too.
I could never find the exact place that info came from though.
There was also a poll that he did in Japan for Brawl and it had an influence on characters.
Someone named SamuraiPanda translated it.
