Noticed this text in the Japanese Wikipedia Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru article:

ゲーム内の「輸入洋品店」の特別な品として、2013年6月16日から6月30日までの期間限定で「バイリンガエル」の帽子がいつの間に通信で配信された（2016年と2017年の6月16日から6月30日には再配信が行われた[7]）。

Translation attempt:

For a limited time only, from June 16-June 30 2013, a special item known as "Bilingaeru" was distributed
as a special item in the game's "Imported Apparel Store". This item was redistributed in 2016 and from June 16-June 30 2017 [7]

(Bilingaeru may be a play on "Bilingual" and "Kaeru" (frog). Not exactly sure what this hat does, but may have connections in speaking different languages, maybe if I were to guess, frog language.)

After a quick Google Image search, they look quite similar to Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru frogs. I noticed Leon posted an image wondering whether it was a reference to Slippy Toad, but the image is no longer showing for me (possibly expired):

An Imagineer at heart but also programmer/scientist practically. I decided to focus on the endless task of my own closed wiki project SanrioWiki.com instead for the company behind Hello Kitty et. al many others but on odd occasions not just a generic licensing company like when they did Sirius and the Fire Child film.
