So, here we are two years after the games original release, and the good folks at Serenes Forest have put out an English patch for the game. This game is an extended remake of Fire Emblem 3, with a plot featuring a mysterious group of assassins targeting Marth. Hm? You're saying you already played Fire Emblem 3? Ok, well have you played BS Fire Emblem? Well you can now because this game also has a remake of that game included. The BS characters even appear in the main story, giving this game one of the largest casts in the entire series. You didn't like how Shadow Dragon didn't have support conversations? Well this game brings back character development in the form of Base Conversations like in the Tellius games. A handy character relation chart also keeps everyone in order. I hear this game has free DLC? Yes it does, three new chapters which take place between Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem are available. There are also three items that will make your characters stronger. These are all translated. I don't like the super cool perma death Fire Emblem is famous for. Luckily for you, this game also has a mode where characters return after being defeated in battle. Of course, you can also play the old school way. Who's that girl in the above pic? That's the Avatar, a player created character who serves as a main character alongside Marth. This will give you an early taste of the Avatar system in next years Fire Emblem: Awakening! With that said, go download it now!

Ah, so it's finally out. It's been in its "almost complete" state for quite a while.
...So yeah. Get it if you're interested.
That reminds me of my own copy of the game. Hard gave me enough headache that I'm probably not going to start a Maniac or Lunatic run, but I still go back to it once in a while to replay the download chapters.

The DLC chapters are friggen hard. I was playing the third one, and the enemy just rushed me and killed half my army.

Oh man, totally forgot about this whole deal. Thanks for the update, Leon.
Now to find a DS emulator that doesn't totally suck..
