I'm a little over an hour early, but to hell with it, I gotta take what I can this year since I'm on a shared computer.
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Here's the thread to listen to Nintendo Christmas music and talk about Christmas and stuff.
Mario Sleigh Ride. I was listening to it and was all like, "Why haven't I used this yet?"

It's old school this year. Staying home and visiting with family.

So, what'd everyone get?
I got some neat stuff. A couple shirts, some CDs, a bookshelf (which I needed.)
Oh, and the Master Sword. Best Christmas ever.

Nothing dorky for me this year, just a whole pile of music CD's. Because our Christmas budget is about 20 bucks each and nobody here knows where to find the nerd gifts around here anyway.

It was not a gift-heavy Christmas this year, but in some ways that was better. My wife did a splendid job with my gifts, getting me an incredible copy of one of my favorite books (The Revolt of the Angels by Anatole France), The Secret World of Arrietty and a Bowser PVC figure I've wanted for years. I also got $20 from my grandmother, food from my sister-in-law, trail mix, laundry soap, a candle and a $100 gift card to Target from my parents, food from my parents-in-law and a proposed plan between my wife and I to get a 360, Skyrim and enough points to buy the expansions when we get our tax return. The day went really well. I had a good time with both sides of our families. So it was truly a good Christmas, despite financial strains.

Well, my family couldn't make it due to the weather, so it was turkey dinner for one this year. Lonely, lonely turkey. It's a couple of years late, but I finally got Donkey Kong Country Returns. Also, Retro Game Master: The GameCenter CX Collection on DVD.
