I recorded myself playing Yoshi Story and I managed to complete the game with a score of 39045. The Playlist is here:

Twin Galaxies doesn't seem to have any records for total scores, but you do beat the record on every individual stage, so I suppose by default you've beaten the highest total score.

Twin Galaxies isn't what it used to be. They've got stricter rules for submitting scores now, and I think it even costs money. There's another site called ScoreGround, but they're brand new and don't have many scores submitted or games represented. Certainly nothing in world record territory yet. It's a little more competition based, too (they award prizes). They don't currently have any submissions for Yoshi's Story, so you'd probably hang on to the record there for quite some time if you submitted.

nocturnal YL: On the topic of WarioWare, I'm glad to finally see a new entry that doesn't have unnecessarily difficult boss games. The motion control does take a lot of getting used to, though. nocturnal YL: A bit late, but I started Aiyoku no Eustia. I have nothing to say about the story yet because the demo lasted 6 hours and I haven't got past that. There's no save data transfer feature, fast-forwarding takes a while, and I stopped to read at some points. Nov 3, 2024 6:47:31 GMT -5

nocturnal YL: Aiyoku no Eustia is quite something. I thought I've somewhat hardened myself having gone through dark stories like Fire Emblem (Jugdral, Hoshido/Nohr, Fódlan) and Surge Concerto, but I'm still stunned. (Still doesn't beat real life, though.) Nov 10, 2024 15:17:23 GMT -5
