Apparently, even Opera thinks I'm too evil and decided to crash. Well, I'm determined! The bad part of me just loves to set up impossible quizzes! Rules: - I'll put some quotes taken from games. They don't have to be story script - they can be anything, from system text to description of special power to voiced script.
- 5 quotes each time. Among them, 2 easy, 2 hard and 1 foreign quotes.
- Easy: A simple online search should get you the answer. Worth 1 point.
- Hard: Search engines can't help you. Worth 4 points.
- Foreign: Not even in English. Worth 5 points.
- All games will be Nintendo-published, unless otherwise noted. I'll also list the developer, because I probably went overboard with the hard questions.
- If there's no answer within 1~2 days, I'll give further hints like platform and game series.
Alright, here goes: Easy: I'll Bowserize it! (INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS) Classic NES game. Help Mario rescue Princess Peach. (TOSE) Hard: The sword changes each time you swing! (HAL Laboratory) That's my all-time, double-favorite stuff! (Nintendo) Foreign: (FR) Tu n'envisagerais pas de partir sans moi? (You won't think about leaving without me?) (CAMELOT)

I was thinking about reducing the hard quotes' worth after I give hints, but decided against it because I think randomly guessing is probably the only way to handle these questions, and chances will remain slim after hints are given.
Nester got both easy quotes correct. Both hard ones are wrong, and "Almost there!" for the foreign one.

I guess this is too difficult/random/uninteresting, after all. Let's see if someone can get the rest.

Am I allowed to take another guess?
New Super Mario Bros 2? Golden Sun: The Lost Age
What's funny is that The Lost Age was my first impulse, but I picked Dark Dawn instead because it was newer.

Oh, my second edit of this post didn't make it through (it got overwritten by my third edit, which was based on my first). Yes, you're allowed - and actually encouraged - to make multiple guesses. This is better than seeing no one participate.
You got Golden Sun: The Lost Age correct. New Super Mario Bros. is alllmost there, so I'll give one last hint. Anyone's welcome to take the last 4 points of this batch for free!

Questions (pending):
Hard: That's my all-time, double-favorite stuff! (Nintendo) Hint: Either New Super Mario Bros. (DS) or New Super Mario Bros. U. One more hint: This line is said by a character - it's not system text.
Questions (solved):
Easy: I'll Bowserize it! (INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS) - Super Paper Mario; Bowser said this when Merlon urges the group to find the 4th hero before Chapter 4.
Classic NES game. Help Mario rescue Princess Peach. (TOSE) - Game & Watch Gallery 3; this is the flavour text of G&W Super Mario Bros. in the Museum.
Hard: The sword changes each time you swing! (HAL Laboratory) - Kirby's Return to Dream Land; found in Ultra Sword's pause menu moveset list
Foreign: (FR) Tu n'envisagerais pas de partir sans moi? (You won't think about leaving without me?) (CAMELOT) - Golden Sun: The Lost Age; at the beginning, Kraden would say this to Felix if he decided to leave the "island" (landmass literally washed out by a tidal wave) without him
Other Notice:
No cut-off time this time. I just effectively gave out the last answer, so come get it!
I'll try another round after this. If you feel this is too difficult, let me know. I have some other (less sinister) ideas.

Let's see... "Double-favorite Stuff" sounds like a reference to the DS, so New Super Mario Bros. DS?
These are kinda obscure. If they were more general quotes, or at least text that somewhat stands out if you're familiar with the game, that might be better.
When I come up with clues, I don't necessarily want them to be easy, but it's with the intention that I want people to be able to figure them out, because that's what's fun. I think it works best if a little thought or research is required, but even then, the clues still need to give you something to go on.
The Catch Copy quiz kinda backfired a bit. What I didn't anticipate was how easy it was to find the answer with a search engine, and not only do I think that isn't a very fun way to figure out the answer, but it also spoils the game for everyone else.

Oh. Like I said, I'll try another round. If it doesn't work too well, I'll try something else. I'll also consider switching to multiple choice if brute force guessing is simply not possible.
And no, it's not the DS one. NSMB DS does not have its characters speak.
This time, I picked some of the more guessable ones for the hard questions. Hope that helps.
