Public announcement: Starting from 22 September, I'll move to Nottingham for studying. It will last for about 1 year and the study will be for a taught master degree in game engineering.
Q&A, even though I don't think most of you are interested:
Why Nottingham? I never targeted that particular place; I just wanted England in general, and preferably not London because of price level issues.
Why game engineering? Actually, from the course outlines I've seen, this course has little software engineering and is more of an in-general game creation course. Which is good, because I'm awful at software engineering. My reason, in short, is difficulty issue. I'm given offers on things like game programming, general multimedia, database and networking. The first one is too difficult for me, and on the others, there are people telling me "if you're good at those already, it's pointless to learn them again."
Anything else? I'm exicted and nervous, yeah. Excited mostly for the nothern climate (I hate temperatures above 24°C), and nervous mostly on preparation stuff (once there, I'm on my own and have to, among other things, set up a local bank account and get a phone plan) and whether I can get to know people. Well, doesn't matter now; everything will eventually solve themselves in just a few weeks.

Cool! I live near Nottingham. In fact, my county is Nottinghamshire. Good luck on your course.

YL, you'll be 210 miles away! Maybe we could meet in the middle some time.
Also, I don't know much about Nottingham, but you're very near Leicester, and that's a very nice city. Birmingham, however, is not.

This is suspiciously missing in this country: They're only found in hand wash and specific versions of bath foam and shampoo. In East Asia, this kind of nozzle is seen in almost all bottled bath products. This is drivng me crazy, since I don't want to use my soapy hand to pick up the whole bottle while bathing. Do British people use this at all? And if yes, where to buy? ...Otherwise, things go fine. I'm reasonably busy, things are a tad expensive, the people here are a bit too patronizing, the spiders hate me, and I still need to find more ways to eat cheap (£2.60 sandwiches are not acceptable), but the transition is smoother than I thought.
