This topic might be a little late, but a few days ago Reggie of NoA asked on Twitter . .
"If we had a new Nintendo World Championships using current games, what would we play? "
(For those that don't know what the NWC is here's the wikipedia article.)
My idea, (Wii U)
- Collecting X amount of coins in either NSMBU or NSLU
- A mission mode challenge in Pikmin 3 to collect the most money.
- Fastest time trail in Mario Kart 8/ or if Smash Bros Wii U has the break the targets challenge use that.
3DS
- Steel Diver time trial
- Kid Icarus Uprising (try to get the highest score on a certain level with a fixed difficulty/weapon)
- Coin collecting in NSMB2 (or coin avoiding if that's harder to do).
- Something involving Luigi's Manison 2?
