Kirby Triple Deluxe is set to be released in Japan on 11th Jan, 2014. I'm going to summarize a bit about Kirby Fighters, because I'm really looking forward to that mode. I've always think Kirby's format is really suitable for an arena fighting game (actually, I'd say Mario 3D World is this too), and it's finally happening!
Let's see...
Characters:
Kirby only. Only 10 abilities will be usable, which makes sense since things will go awkward between a battle of, say, Crash Kirby and Stone Kirby.
We have Sword, Cutter, Beam, Parasol, Hammer, Bomb, Fighter, Ninja, Whip and Sniper. These are the weapon/fighting-oriented abilities. Makes sense, although I wonder why aren't they including other fighting-oriented ones like Spear and Bell. They don't look overpowered when put next to things like Bomb and Hammer.
Stages:
KDL1 / Spring Breeze:
- Lololo & Lalala (3-storey; also note that this is Lololo and Lalala's first non-anime 3D appearance)
- Kracko stage
- Dedede's stadium (Dedede will occasionaly show up and block the view)
Kirby's Dream Land 3:
- Forest stage (with 5 doors)
Kirby 64:
- Factory stage (based on Shiver Star stage 4, complete with that creepy music and the deadly hammers)
Kirby Wii:
- Another Dimension (yellow/purple platform with space background)
Triple Deluxe:
- Grass stage
Items:
Cracker, an alarm clock, what looks like a Stomper Boot, and a throwable version of Bomber spotted. Yay violence!
Game mechanics:
This is a health-based battle game where the goal is to take out other players. HP apears to be plentiful, so the battle won't simply end within seconds There are also 1P and multiplayer modes.
1P mode: do 7 battles in a row.
Multiplayer and Training: 4 players must participate (computer players will take place if you have less), and you can optionally allow the KO'd players to continue participating as Ghost Kirby.

That's it for now. The main mode and that Dedede music game are interesting too, and I hope to get more information about those soon.
I'm interested in the overall story. So that enemy Taranza (JP name) has taken Dedede... but why? And is this Taranza really bad, or is Kirby once again misinformed?
And for that Dedede music game, what other music are there? The Kirby series is full of wonderful music, so whatever the rest of them are, this is going to be enjoyable.
