Help needed in finding the name of a game

Hello!
This is my first post in this forum and I need your help  (this is my last hope after searching the internet in the last few days).

I'm searching for a game which is set in space, the main character is an astronaut (or something like this, with a gun maybe, I don't remember exactly). The game takes place in a maze, grid or something similar (like in Pac-Man) with other characters. I don't remember how the main character interacts with the other characters (planting a bomb or shooting at them). The only thing I remember is that there are warp zones in the grid.

Based on your description, it sounds an awful lot like an old arcade game called Wizard of Wor.



If that's not it, let us know about any other details you may remember, and we'll look a little harder.

I forgot to mention that I've played it on a NES clone.

Wow, and I thought Wizard of Wor fit your description to a T.

The only other games I'm coming across that are close are Warpman, a Japan-only Famicom game that a clone console might be able to play, and RoboWarrior, a spin-off of the Bomberman series.
