This was already mentioned in the Flipnote Studio 3D thread, but I think it deserves its own topic. So, Club Nintendo is going away in North America and Europe. Apparently there will be a bunch of new stuff available so we can spend all our saved coins/stars. There will be some kind of new loyalty program to replace it, so I'm not terribly upset or anything. Ironically, this was probably going to be the first year I ever qualified for Platinum status, but considering the underwhelming rewards given out last year, I didn't have high expectations. I rarely ever got stuff from Club Nintendo anyway. It'll be interesting to see what they replace it with.

I hope that in the future they blend the program with the Digital Deluxe service. Having eShop vouchers is much more valuable to be than some cheap trinkets.

Just went through a large amount of my games today registering Nintendo Australian/NZ product Club Nintendo codes, because I thought they would expire tomorrow (turns out it April 20th) but on that note . . .
Due to it being much cheaper to import games from Europe over the years, I have managed to acquire quite a few European Club Nintendo vouchers/codes that are of no use to me. Hopefully these Euro ones don't expire after 5 years like the Aus/NZ versions.
In other words who in Europe needs a few extra points?
Disclaimer, will not give codes to new users but established members of this forum who get priority or on a case by case basis.
Also one more thing, downloading the free trail version of the 3DS eShop game Ironfall: Invasion gives 50 free stars after doing the survey on Club Nintendo. That was unexpected.

I could do with a few more, if you're offering! I'm pretty close to being able to get Dillon's Rolling Western from the stars catalogue, and I've always wanted to play it.

Sorry about the delay.
List of games (because I assume you can't register the same game twice) and I hope these haven't expired.
Handheld titles
Ghost Trick Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story Last Window: Secret of Cape West New Art Academy (3DS) Kid Icarus Uprising
Console titles
Sin and Punishment 2 Wii Sports Resort Super Mario Galaxy 2 The Last Story (limited edition version) (Could the code be different from the standard edition?)
Just respond to which ones you need and I'll scratch off and PM the codes to you.

I highly recommend Ghost Trick. Everyone should play it.

I never actually qualified for platinum status this year, but that doesn't really matter since none of the platinum rewards interested me. I cashed in my gold reward for Advance Wars.
I've got 800 coins, and I think I'm going to spend them on Excitebike: World Rally, NES Remix, and maybe 1080 Snowboarding. Not sure about that last one, tho. I might swap 1080 out for Golden Sun, but frankly, I've got enough RPGs to play.
You think they'll change the rewards every month like they usually do?

I might swap 1080 out for Golden Sun, but frankly, I've got enough RPGs to play. You should have bought Excitebike when Nintendo WFC was still active. It's not really necessary to enjoy the game, but it's the only way to play against other players at all. Without it, the only things left are Time Trial variants. It's still the best Excitebike though. I'd recommend Golden Sun 1~2 to RPG players in general. If you have 30 hours to spend (and 40~60 more on the sequel), go ahead and marvel at what the GBA is capable of. Also, Sakuraba music.

I'm still mostly undecided, to be honest. I already have the games I'd want, and the rest of it doesn't really jump out at me much. I've heard 1080 hasn't really aged that well.
Otherwise, I'd be getting duplicates of games I own the physical versions of. (Not that having a digital version of Majora's Mask or Yoshi's Island would be a bad thing.)

LAST DAY TO REGISTER CLUB NINTENDO CODES IN PAL REGIONS.
Sent codes to Kirbychu after nearly forgetting and unfortunately finding out they they expire faster than the Australian ones.
Since Kirbychu can't use this, here's the Euro CN code for Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Important announcement for PAL regions! Final few days to purchase stars/coins/whatever to exchange for Nintendo stuff/games! Ends September 30th! Most of the merch stuff in the Aus store is pretty bad. I was really, really hoping that those awesome Smash Bros newcomer poster would be available down here but they never showed up. Also can't understand why certain games GBA games have lower/higher price points than others. Why are GBA games such as Metroid Fusion/M&L:SS/F-Zero 1100 points when Fire Emblem: TSS/Advance Wars/Golden Sun/Mario Golf:AT 2400 points? Why is Revenge of the Gator, a GB game is 1000 points and is more expensive than any of the GBC games? Looks like I'm gonna have to check the price to points ratio to see what stuff is a good deal.

Had 3550 stars and managed to spend 3540 on stuff! Found this chart made by someone on reddit that showed the price to star points ratio Club Nintendo Au, and brought most of the best purchases from using it. Don't know if it will help out anyone here, but I thought it was really good to share. So in the end I got: - Nintendo hardware 3DS exclusive Club Nintendo theme. - The Mysterious Murasame Castle - Aura-Aura Climber - Donkey Kong 94 - SML 3: Wario Land - Pikmin Short Movies HD (Only Wii U software I got). I originally wanted to get Metroid Fusion and possibly substitute one of the GB games for Metroid II but I kept thinking they could have a sale on those next year when Metroid Prime:FF comes out or possibly the Metroid 30th anniversary and even if I brought those I would have had more points leftover but still too little to buy things with. There were other games that were a "better deal" but I already owned them(such as Link's Awakening DX).
