[Hey guys, I'm posting this in two different forums. For your edification, this is a forum adventure, wherein you guys make suggestions to determine the course of the story. I do have a number of goals in mind, but you guys will do more to determine how I reach those goals, along with the people at the other forum. Some of you may recognize the format as that used by MS Paint Adventures. That is because it is the format used by MS Paint Adventures. Anyways, let's get this started. I already got two suggestions before I could bring it over here, so that's why this first post is three panels already.]
You are a gorilla on a quest for revenge. All of your friends and family have been kidnapped, and the entirety of your food supply has been stolen. Your food supply, by the way, consists of several hundred tons of bananas. You're so angry you could hurl barrels from off of a building. In case it's not clear...
...Your name is Donkey Kong, and You Speak With Surprising Eloquence.
In any case, you have a lot of work to do. A lot of butt to kick, as it is, and you have a lot of ground to cover if you're going to successfully kick said butts. And since you have absolutely no help right now, you have to think of a plan without even so much as a banana peel to offer you any advice. Which is just as well, because you have never really stopped to make plans in the past, either. But now, you don't even have Cranky's cantankerous nonsense to back you up. So the obvious question remains.
What do you do?
> Demonstrate your amazing Kong strength!
You flex your muscles to demonstrate your impressive MIGHT stat. While you're at it, you decide to open the HUD pertaining to your stats to check up on your situation. You are surprised to see how low your WRATH is, given your situation. Must be because of how early in this quest you are.
Anyways, your Vitality is a record of how much damage you have accumulated. If you were to somehow get a hold of a banana, your Vitality would increase, though never greater than your Stamina. Aside from putting a cap on your Vitality, your Stamina determines how much damage you can brush off, so with a higher Stamina, you should be able to take more grievous wounds with much more panache. Your Agility deals in how skilled you are at climbing and brachiating. Your Haste is similarly related to moving around, specifically, it is related to how quickly you can run, as well as your general endurance. Your Might is, naturally, how powerful you are. The more Might you have, the harder you can punch and the heavier the items you can pick up are. Finally is your Wrath, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Unlike your other stats, your Wrath will never develop as a skill throughout your quest. It will always cap at 10. When your Wrath hits critical mass, you unlock a large number of insanely powerful techniques.
>Sing the DK Rap
No. You regret the DK Rap's existence, and are much too cool to indulge in that again. In any case, low as your Wrath is, you feel the distinct rhythm in your mind indicating that you are about to act a lot more brutal than that song is really suited for. You hear in your head the faint beginnings of the DK Island Swing. But you'd need a higher Wrath before you could start hearing that for real. Not to mention a good sense of where your enemies are.
["Stray Donkey Strut" Remix by djpretzel of OverClocked Remix. This story will eventually get video, but first I need the right programs for it, so for now that's the best you got: A panel accompanied by a link to a song.]
