Here's the first, uh, "English" trailer:
I like how it emphasizes that "#FE" is for Fire Emblem. I think that's what Nintendo needs to do to prevent the game from being completely overlooked.
Also, it's been confirmed that Atlus is handling the localization, although they're still conforming to Nintendo's content standards.

Looks like that, so far, the translation is fine. Finally, for once NOA isn't adding their flavour to the games.
I've heard comments saying that they shouldn't have advertised it as anything related to SMT or FE at first, only to announce the FE contents later on as a surprise. The reason is to avoid raising the expectation too much.
Anyway, I'm glad that they aren't randomly altering names. NOA seems to think players are dumb and don't know how Japanese names work (okay, maybe true for those who aren't that much into Japanese pop culture). Seems not to be the case here.
I think this game is playable at PAX East. I wonder if there is any English version gameplay videos available.

Cool. I'll take a look in a bit to see if this game is really that faithful. (More on that in a bit. I'm going to collect my shipment of FE Cipher cards now.) EDITOkay, let's see. Localisation observations thus far include: Lance-Slash, Sword-Lunge... so that's what the Session skills are called. Lance-follow Slash would be clearer in indicating that it's a sword move, but it would be really verbose.
Play Records are still called that.
"Elec-lunge", huh... I suppose it's good? In the Japanese version, Session skill magic is referred to with their Fire Emblem names, though, so shouldn't that be Thunder?
They abbreviated "Skill" into "Skl". All Fire Emblem titles prior always keep "Skill" in full.
Stardom (a kind of Performa) is called Prestige here.
It keeps the three measurements and blood type. Those are stuff NOA likes to pretend don't exist.
I was worried that when they said they would raise Tsubasa's age, things would get de-synced in that Itsuki and Touma will have different ages as her, and their school years don't raise accordingly. Glad to see all these being addressed. (Although I don't think it's realy needed in the first place. Tiki's real-life voice actress was 16 at the time of recording her voices, for instance.)
Are those "medicines" supposed to be vulneraries?
They discarded Uta-loid TIKi's captalisation seen in the original version. It's now plain Tiki. Likewise, TOPIC is not just Topic.

Not bad at all. Far better than what NOA themselves would have done. I just thought of something. I wonder how many people will pronounce the "#FE" as "hashtag FE" instead of "sharp FE." Back when it was announced at E3 2015, I've heard many YouTube users pronounce it that way. I suspect there are even people who call the C♯ programming language that way.

To those who plan to buy Tokyo Mirage Seesions ♯FE, do not attempt to fight the secret boss at Lunatic unless you have a LOT of time to spend. If you think reaching level 99 and further raising all of everyone's stats by 12 or so will do the trick, well... ( Miiverse post, and yeah, that's me) Wait until the next playthrough (you can inherit your levels and items) and lower the difficulty to Easy if all you want is 100% completion. The "I beat this impossible boss at Lunatic" bragging right probably isn't worth it. (You can freely switch between Easy, Normal and Hard, but not Lunatic.)
