Nothing really to say about EA and Ubisoft. About as boring as I expected them to be.
But Sony... whoa. The megatons they dropped are the kinds of things that E3 should be about. The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII Remake, launching a Shenmue III Kickstarter live. I feel like I'm listing a fanboy wishlist. All that was missing was Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Half-Life 3.
The only one of those that's really meaningful to me is Shenmue III, but after that press conference, Sony's the one to beat, by far.
Good luck, Nintendo.

I think Nintendo lost, big time.
Let's see...
- Star Fox Zero - Two Metroid Prime spinoffs (One is Blast Ball, the other I forgot the title) - The Legend of Zelda: TRI-Force something, which is basically Four Swords wihtout Violet - Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (M&L / PM crossover, with M&L being the main system) - Some Animal Crossing party game on Wii U - Mario Tennis on Wii U
...And that's it. Everything else is already announced elsewhere.
Mario Maker supports amiibo, which turns Mario into someone else. Wii Fit Trainer, Isabelle, Link, Marth and Luigi shown thus far. (I want to see what will happen if you scan Mario.)
More comments later. It's very underwhelming, but at least it's an all-trailer, no-nonsense show. And no third party stuff besides Hyrule Warriors: Legends and a small Skylanders section.

Yeah, the Digital Event was kind of a whiffer for me, too. They focused so much on stuff we've already known about for more than a year, and the new stuff... didn't exactly raise my heart rate.
There is three days of Treehouse Live ahead, so I hope to see something interesting during that. (They can't play Star Fox for three days, or keep replaying the games they featured last year.)
EDIT: It was confirmed that Star Fox Zero is being developed/co-developed by Platinum Games.

Started off strong with the puppets and Starfox and some nice surprises like M&L and Metroid Prime: FF/BB (It's one game). Mario Tennis was unexpected and the Animal Crossing party game was a really, really strange game to see.
Nice to hear Starfox is Platinum Games developed and MP:FF is Next Level Games (Yes Blastball is part of that, not two spinoffs).
It also appears with the Starfox Gyrowing that the "teather robot" resembles R.O.B. (not ROB 64 but an actual R.O.B.). Or one of the R.O.B. like robots from Project Guard.
Also Fatal Frame got a new trailer that for some stupid reason wasn't shown in the Digital Event.

I dunno about you guys, but Mario & Luigi x Paper Mario made my head explode.
Also we got another clip of Iwata staring a bunch of bananas... that better mean something...

In greater details:
Star Fox Zero [Nintendo, Platinum Games] Probably the best actual news. Everything in this game screams Star Fox 64 follow-up. Could either be before SF64 or is its own story, ignoring the other games. Pigma's still alive.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force [?] Play as generic members of the Galactic Federation and... do missions. Blast Ball is available as a mode of this game or standalone...? And that's the only thing known. Seriously.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash [CAMELOT] Mario Tennis with Mega Mushroom. Those Strikers guy did that one whole generation before. NoA's E3 site says some character will debut in this game. Whatever that means.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes [Nintendo] Three Links must... wait, where's the fourth? And Link gets a Zelda dress too. So I guess it's okay to actually call him Zelda now. Yeah.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Mix [ALPHADREAM] Looks somewhat interesting, but they're not showing enough to really capture my attention. Paper Mario's mainly influenced by Sticker Star, and I don't expect any unique Paper Mario characters there, and the overall system is still M&L's; think of Paper Mario as a 3rd character like Bowser.
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival [Nintendo] Animal Crossing, and a board game to boost. Doesn't interest me personally.
Everything else are announced elsewhere, so I won't count them as E3 stuff.
This E3 turned out exactly the way I thought. Super Maroi Maker interests me intensely, and I just... lost interest in everything else. Now excuse me while I go back and watch the Treehouse stream on Mario Maker.

Also Fatal Frame got a new trailer that for some stupid reason wasn't shown in the Digital Event. Ah, cool. I'm not terribly surprised it wasn't part of the Digital Event. I didn't expect them to highlight things that have already been out in Japan for some time. (Although they did show Xenoblade X.) Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. At least it has an official title, now.

A Metroid game without Samus, who knew.

I noticed there's no mention of Devil's Third on Nintendo's official E3 site, but I'd like to think it will get its own presentation over the next few days. It sounds like Itagaki is at E3, and I don't know why he'd be there if Devil's Third wasn't. Itagaki does seem to like to promote his games himself, as he did last year. He was even in the new trailer. We'll see. Also conspicuously absent: Project Treasure.

Didn't the June Direct say Project Treasure will have more details shown later this year?

Well, I thought it was pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing, but still plenty of stuff I'm looking forward to.
Though the most exciting things for me this E3 have been Rare Replay, ReCore and Shenmue 3.

I'm in love with the fact that several enemies and objects got official de-made sprites with Super Mario Maker. Not like it was really E3 news of game announcements or whatever.

GameSpot will be showcasing "Nintendo Title 5" tomorrow during their E3 coverage. ( Source) It doesn't say "unannounced" like a lot of the other games being listed. Devil's Third, perhaps? Speaking of unannounced, I can't help but notice that "Unannounced Platinum Games Title 1" down there.

Why is Woolly World releasing in NA in October while everywhere else gets it soon? Not sure how this makes any sense.

I'm sure Europeans ask that same question whenever North America gets something months before them.
