A whole challenge group that takes some of the levels and uses WarioWare characters!!
Huh? Where are Dribble, Spitz, and Orbulon?

Dribble and Spitz appear in the Rhythm Kart game, as does Orbulon.
This is awesome, someone posted an image of Ashley tap on GAF a few days ago, I had no idea that the other appeared too.

That's all they get? They wasted a perfect opportunity for Dribble & Spitz in Air Rally.

I don't think they're super popular characters, so that's probably the best they could get. I'm more surprised that Master Mantis and Young Cricket got a game.

They might as well with how they put out Ashley themes and badges every holiday.

The badges aren't that important, and they always seem to be in tandem with Nikki (Swapnote) and sometimes Isabelle. And still Japan-only. Things like these don't mean much in the long run. Ashley only got one 3DS theme for Halloween because well, what other Nintendo character has Halloween written all over them?
No matter what Ashley gets, it still doesn't change that fact that she holds no special importance in the WarioWare series itself. I don't see her on the boxarts of its last few games, do you?

I think the point here is that when you're facing the general public, steering towards general taste (whatever it is) may help.

YL gets it. I love Wario, I even think he's one of the best characters under the whole Mario umbrella. But let's be real here, it's very difficult to sell a fat ugly man to the general public.

Yeah, but WarioWare has all these other characters too, whom I just posted and whom everyone seems to conveniently forget about. I reckon 9-Volt would be an effective sell to the most hardcore of Nintendo fans.
...It hadn't dawned on me until now that the last "proper" WarioWare was nine years ago.
