As I'm sure a few of you remember, a couple years ago Bandai Namco and Monolith Soft released Project X Zone, the crossover SRPG starring characters from various Bandai Namco, Capcom, and SEGA games. Well Monolith Soft and BN are working together again and instead of making Baten Kaitos 3 they're giving us Project X Zone 2, this time with a little bit of Nintendo fan service. So who do we have from Nintendo? Announced is Fiora from Xenoblade (who forms a team with KOS-MOS from Xenosaga), and Chrom & Lucina from Fire Emblem as their own team. Will there be more Nintendo characters? Maybe, but these guys are advertised as guest characters, so it's possible that this is it. You want to know who else shows up? Well ok then. From Capcom we get characters like Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil, Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney and June Lin Milliam from Star Gladiator joining the roster. From SEGA we have Goro Majima from Yakuza, Hibana from Nightshade, and Segata Sanshiro from your favourite Sega Saturn ad. Finally from Bandai Namco we have Natsu from Soul Calibur, Kazuya Mishima from Tekken, and Aty from Summon Night 3. Of course the roster includes a lot of additional characters from the three main companies like Ryu (who I believe by law is supposed to appear in any Capcom crossover), Ulala from Space Channel 5, and Valkyrie from The Legend of Valkyrie will show up.

When I first saw the Nintendo characters earlier today, I thought, "What are those characters doing there?" I didn't think Nintendo was part of that crossover, but I guess they are now.
As far as Sega goes, I was honestly more surprised to see Hibana than Segata Sanshiro. It's cool to see her pop up in another game, tho.

I hope if they do a PXZ3, they go all out and make Nintendo a full partner. A Wonder Red & Bayonetta team just has to happen.
I will admit, I'm not too pleased with the Bandai Namco roster this time around. I liked the characters in the last game, but a lot of the new guys just don't seem that cool.

They have my attention with Hibana and Segata. I'm glad someone at SEGA remembers the PS2 era.

Apparently, Ryo Hazuki will also be playable in PXZ2, which begs the question, will there be any sailors in this game?

Some eagle eyed people also spotted Metal Face and M. Bison too.

A demo is out on the eShop now, and I think they really improved the gameflow from the previous games. The turn phase is now like Fire Emblem, instead of every single unit having their own. The enemies also don't seem to be as HP heavy as they were before, but that could just be a demo thing. If you have a few minutes I encourage you to check it out.
