Sorry about that extended delay... last Friday was my girlfriend's birthday, and we went to London on Saturday around the Natural History Museum (so many dead things.......) Then on Sunday we went up on a canal boat and paraded around England in a most English manner! Nice people... and some weirdoes... but on the whole lovely. But I'm back and will bring the site up to date shortly. Anyone else do anything nice with their weekend?

It was my girlfriend's birthday over the weekend as well. We went bar hopping Sunday night because we didn't have classes on Monday due to Labor Day. After that we played Animal Crossing, which was one of the gifts I got her. She's addicted to it now! ;D

Welcome back. Ah, the Natural History Museum. I went there a while ago and enjoyed it, was very interesting. What did you think of it? I can't even remember what I did last weekend, hehe. Damn you, Pikmin, for ruining my brain! ~~Morgan Lamia~~

I thought it was very big, not very well ventilated, and filled with animals that were very dead and stuffed. Other than that it was thoroughly enjoyable, as I got to see loads of my university buddies for the first time in three months.
Felt kinda stupid having a sign next to a stuffed animal saying "this is an endangered species" - YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KILLED IT THEN!!
Anyway, you also from England? Or were you just visiting? There seem to be more Brits on this forum than I'd usually expect.

Yeah, England born and raised. Oxford to be more precise. Been coming to NinDB since pretty much the beginning; watched it grow up, hehe. I remember seeing that SSBM trophy video when it was first uploaded to IGN and even started doing what you did; researching all the old Nintendo games, started putting a site together....kinda freaky. I never finished it though so it never actually went online.

I just played Pikmin 2 all weekend. I only have two more caves to go through. Oh, and what is Europe like? I was going to go on a school trip to France this Spring, but there hasn't been any recent updates on the trip, so I don't know if I am going to go. I'm definitley going to Costa Rica and Bermuda this Summer, though. (Oh, and if you are wondering, I live in New York.)

Europe is very varied, so I can't really say what it is like as a whole - the only thing it really shares is a lot of history - invasions, Romans, you know the stuff.
As a brief synopsis of the big economic powers of Europe:
England is fed up with the weather, complains a lot about anything, and thinks royalty is excellent (or was that a waste of tax-payers' money?). France complains about England, has a few nice bits, but is mostly fields. Germany has a lot of hard working people who seem eager to please (which is a little unnerving). Italy drives stupidly little cars and scooters, but get on with their mums (awww). Spain sleeps a lot, but works hard and parties when they're not. Russia is apparently a part of Europe... but no-one's quite sure about that.
Oh yes, and Lego comes from Denmark! Whoo! Lego rules!
Apologies if anyone is offended by any of that, but I am happy to take any abuse aimed at the English. If you're offended by being left off the list then you're just weird.

You can take a whack at the U.S. whenever you want. I don't plan on living in this country all my life ;D. (I actually would like to go to Japan after College. Of course, it'd cost TONS of Dollars (or Yen) to do, but if everything works out nicely, I'd like to think about it...)

Japan is an earthquake waiting to happen. The US just likes to shoot at things to see what happens.
That's enough generalisation for one day!

Beginning of a school year!?!?!?! Fryguy, I live in Australia... we're halfway through our year! Started in March and end in November. I have a friend in Cyprus who also is starting her new year now (bizarre Northern Hemisphere people...) She was in Australia for a month and then left last week to go back to Cyprus... But on the note of that starting school in August thing... you Northern Hemisphere folk... how can you sleep at night???

Ah, over here it's September to July or there abouts. Then Summer Holidays! But I suppose with your weather the other way round to here that's not really an issue. I sleep at night in a little bed in my girlfriend's parents' front room... why do you ask?

That's right - we get the big break during December-February (3 months off for Uni students!!!) Only one month off during June-July - that's when I want to go to Cyprus to spend part of the summer there with the girl who left me here in miserable dreary Australia (Australia is neither miserable nor dreary... ;D ) Oh, and thanks for the abundance of personal info Fryguy... I don't think any of the users of this forum could have gone on living without it... (I am kidding around, of course ;D ) We didn't even get a winter this year in Australia - do you know that??? It was warm ALL winter... I wanted a COLD winter, damnit!!! Ripped off again by this crazy unpredictable climate change... Thanks a lot fossil fuel!
