This thread's just to make sure who all is still here on this forum. As you know, this forum has seen not as much activity as it used to.
To my knowledge, the people who post here the most frequently are: -Nocturnal YL -Leon -Nester -Koopaul
Am I missing anyone?
Those who do still post, but not as often: -Shrikeswind(?) -Manspeed -Parrothead -Kirbychu(?) -Da Robot(?) -The Qu -TV Eye
And then there's Kohta with her random, sneaky once-a-year posts.
Fry, Wildcat, Shadrio, and a few others seem to no longer be here at all.

Yourself? Johans Nidorino could go in the "not as often" list. Arcadenik's been sporadic, but he's posted some over the last six months. Sqrt2 has been posting Super Mario Maker levels. Also, Spud posted a few times a bit over a month ago. He seems to pop in every few months or so.

Somebody post something to the Pokémon Sun/Moon thread, or I'll feel too lazy to update it

Oh, I definitely peruse around here from time to time, it's just that many times when I've thought of something to say, it's already been said.
This forum's become a sort of club house fo' you all, ain't it?

It's my home away from home. I always know I'm not gonna find any trolls here.

I'm still here, I thought I'll be in the top group though. It is the post E3 lull time period. Also there wasn't really much to talk about from Nintendo at E3 with their Zelda coverage.
It the one bizarre thing about this forum, there's not many here in the first place which seems to draw newcomers away due to the lack of new posts which results in a pretty dead curve for population growth.
I wish we would be more active, but obviously we are getting older.

The site or the forums? Because Nindb.net had an update within the last 12-14 months and, let's be honest, that's as alive as it's ever been. I'm not sure how much demand there is for dedicated forums like this when most places now will just start up a subreddit. Granted you lose out on a lot from those since they emphasize what's happening RIGHT NOW, and don't even let you post in threads 6 months old or older. Meanwhile this forum has multiple nearly decade old threads that are still going.

Personally, I still like forums and fan communities. I think it's social media like Twitter and Facebook that have caused the decline in communities like this. Most people just use those and don't bother visiting a specific forum. Certainly there are more people to connect with, but you also lose the community feeling. I kinda like the more personal interaction.
Also, this forum has been around for quite a while, and a lot of the typical conversations you'd have in a place like this were exhausted a long time ago.
That's not to say there aren't things to discuss, but I think there's a little bit of apathy around here, too.

Yeesh, I was posting here late last year. I'm still around. I just haven't been here a whole lot. I'll try to be around more often.

It the one bizarre thing about this forum, there's not many here in the first place which seems to draw newcomers away due to the lack of new posts which results in a pretty dead curve for population growth. I thought it was some other factors that drew newcomers away from here. (Can't quite put my finger on what, though) But I suppose you're right about that, either way. And I do believe Nester's right on the money. With the rise of social media and sites like Tumblr and Reddit, it's honestly turned places like this into empty shells of what they used to be.
