Hey, guys. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
I've never played it, and in general, I tend not to get too interested in the handheld Zelda games. Even when Phantom Hourglass first came out, I was never able to get too excited about it. Considering that the general opinions I see online tend to be lukewarm, I figured I wasn't missing much.
However, I've been considering getting it on the Virtual Console, and since it's on sale right now, I thought I'd see if you guys thought it was worth checking out.
So, what are your opinions on the game?

Personally, I think you would be better off with Spirit Tracks if you really wanted a DS Zelda. I don't think either of them are really that great, but ST is the better one.

Yeah, I never hear anything special about either of them. Maybe I'll just hang on to my cash for now. Thanks for the reply!

Both make a heavy use of the stylus. Make sure your GamePad has a decent screen filter.
I liked Phantom Hourglass for its riddles, its weapons, its input novelty and your allies. Plus we finally got to slay Pols Voices the way it was intended! But Spirit Tracks had better controls and more interesting mechanics and field navigation. It also had its own unique musical instrument.

I'm still a little curious about it, but I think it might be one of those things where I'm more interested in the story and lore than the actual gameplay.
