Might as well start a thread for this.
Here's the latest trailer for Sonic Forces, featuring the ability to create your own character.

I know it's just an example of a custom character, but the one they showcased in the video looks quite weird.

I like this and wonder how much variation/freedom you can have in creating your custom character; it could add a nice personal touch to the game not only to people who have already created their fan Sonic characters.
Not sure whether will be buying Sonic Forces though I think will be getting Sonic Mania as I have a soft spot for that style of gameplay.

OK, this isn't Sonic Forces, but here's the latest trailer for Sonic Mania (officially due out August 15):

New trailer for Sonic Forces, featuring previous enemies, including Shadow, Metal Sonic, Chaos, Zavok (from Lost World) and a new really creepy-looking one named Infinite. I'm starting to get kinda hyped for this. As an aside, the press release refers to Eggman as Robotnik. I thought Sega had phased that name out.

Here's a look at the special stages, bonus stages, and time attack modes in Sonic Mania:
Man, I was excited for this game until I saw the 3D stages from Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Joking aside, it's interesting how the main special stages are going for that early 32-bit polygonal look, complete with pop-up. They really are selling the idea of the game being like a lost Saturn title.

I didn't expect the 3D stages. This game looks more ambitious than I thought.
I'd be more interested if there's a physical release. It can easily pass as one in terms of quality. And I can't wait to see this game deluxified some time in the future, as a lot of SEGA games do.

Mighty the Armadillo is a fine bonus for long time Sonic fans, but Ray the Flying Squirrel coming back after over a quarter century being MIA is just mind blowing. I never knew I wanted the SegaSonic team back together 'till now.
