Here's an unreleased game that some may have never heard of. Sound Fantasy on the SNES is essentially Electroplankton before Electroplankton. Just watch the video to see what it is. See the links in this video's description for more details. www.youtube.com/watch?v=foQGSPD1_L0Too bad this game wasn't released. It probably wouldn't be well-liked at the time, but if released, it'd have been an early example of a sandbox music game. (Mario Paint's composer function is an even earlier example, so it wouldn't have been the first.)

It seems like an interesting game, and it would be nice if Nintendo officially released it some day like Star Fox 2 and EarthBound Zero. Unfortunate that it wasn't included for the SNES mini.

I was racking my brain trying to remember where I saw an article for this, thinking it was at HG101 or something, but I couldn't find it. Then I realized, I wrote one three years ago (for a site I don't write for anymore). Also, we had a short thread about it in 2005.
