One of the VR videoes in the Labo VR Kit showes someone switching on a Virtual Boy and watching the Mario Tennis VB title screen.
In an interesting note, the video states "check out old VR in new VR!" Which may possibly be the first time Nintendo has ever referred to the Virtual Boy as being VR.

I'd love if this is a hint for a Virtual Boy recreation/archives series to come, I feel it would be cool for instance if Virtual Boy Wario Land was remade (if the trademark renewal of that game in 2018 is relevant). Virtual Boys have become a lot more pricey now, interestingly I've seen lower prices on Yahoo Auctions Japan but I personally prefer using eBay because of the logistics and longer process (as I live in the UK). |
