Hey guys its been a while but I'm working on an art project and I need some help. Is there anywhere I can find official artwork for the Famicom Wars series for the Famicom and Super Famicom? I need some references for how the Infantry and Tanks looked in those games from the artwork. Do any of you know where I can find it?
Thank you.

www.ssbwiki.com/File:Tank_Infantry_Spirit.pngObviously, there's the Smash spirit. This is from Super Famicom Wars. www.nintendo.co.jp/n02/shvc/bfwj/index.htmlThe old official website has a single, low-res image of what I think is an Attacker. Unlike some of the older Super Famicom games, IS doesn't maintain their own version of website, so I guess that's it as far as easily-searchable resources go. You can also find the box art and cartridge art for Famicom Wars, but I don't think that's helping. Super Famicom Wars is a Nintendo Power game, and as such it doesn't have a retail box or manual.

Oh I didn't know that. What about Gameboy Wars? I looked at some of the box art but a lot of them also come in blurry. I'll admit I don't know too much about the series history. I should explain that for my art project I'm drawing almost all the Smash Bros Assist Trophies. I was going to tackle Infantry and Tanks next but didn't know exactly how I should draw them. I've seen the Spirit but wanted to compare all possible designs and official artwork before settling on one. I suppose if there really isn't much else I'll base it on the Spirit.
Thank you.

Good luck with your project! Its reported Game Boy Wars was developed and published by Nintendo, while Turbo (with an additional revision by Weekly Famitsu), 2, 3 were developed and self-published by Hudson Soft. Possible sources for artwork then may be archived Nintendo/Hudson Soft mini-sites. If there are Japanese guidebooks to these games, these may have some obscure art in them too. The Nintendo mini-site is still up for Game Boy Wars 1 (which is often the case even for older games): www.nintendo.co.jp/n02/dmg/gwj/index.htmlAs for the others this might help. It seems archive.org allows you to search the entire archive. This could be very useful for finding artwork. There may also be relevant content on archive.is (Edit: Sorry I'm not sure if the link below does cover everything there (there were contributed Famitsu scans though, turns out I chose the wrong search criteria and websites per se were not included) and speech marks for the string may help. Hudson's old website was web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.hudson.jp ) archive.org/search.php?query=%E3%82%B2%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A0%E3%83%9C%E3%83%BC%E3%82%A4%E3%82%A6%E3%82%A9%E3%83%BC%E3%82%BA&sin=TXT&page=2

If it's the Smash Assist Trophy that you're particularly concerned about, maybe you should look into the GBA games? After all, that's where the Assist Trophy's sprites are taken from. A quick Google search shows quite a few of the tanks, both as artwork and large sprites. I can't seem to find infantry units this way, but I honestly don't see much going on either. They're cartoonish soldiers with helmets. And the newer games put more focus on the COs than the units.

I kind of want to get a good look at their uniforms. I was originally looking at the Advance Wars artwork but there really isn't any for the Infantry. I saw the Spirit so I thought there might be more artwork from the old games. Good luck with your project! That's pretty cool, good use of the different factions as alts.
