ALPHADREAM CORPORATION, developer of games like the Hamtaro licensed games and the Mario & Luigi series, has filed bankrupcy due to being insolvent. Although they had a notable profile of games and managed to have a revenue of 300M yen for the year ended March 2014, high development costs and the inability to cover such costs proved too much for them, having reached 465M yen in liabilities as at 31 March 2018. Their last game was Kedama no Gonjiro: Fit & Run for iOS and Android. Source: Yahoo! News

That's unfortunate.
I've never played any of the Mario & Luigi games. I've heard that the last couple, both remakes on 3DS, didn't sell very well.

It's really sad. I love Mario & Luigi (though some of the last didn't like so much). Maybe some of the staff could get together again to make a game inspired by its legacy. Also there is the game Koto Battle which is one of my favourite currently obscure games.

KotoBattle literally has a song called "Let's Go". I love this song, a warm gentle mustard yellow aesthetic. I'm wondering if that's a coincidence or if Mario & Luigi's "Let's Go" SE is a reference to it, which is hard to say without evidence. Literally でかけよう might be from 出掛ける and volitional form; so "Let's go out". The first few notes are similar, but not identical to Final Fantasy 7's The Prelude (0:00-0:01). You can simulate them on a keyboard as C, D, E, G
