Kazuhisa Hashimoto, the creator of the iconic Konami Code (↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A), has passed away at the age of 61. He created the code as a debugging tool for the NES version of Gradius, and left it in by accident. Since then, it has become the most famous code in the history of video games.

Aww bless rest in peace Kazuhisa Hashimoto. I remember that code, and the old cheat codes in other publisher's games like the Sonic series, the Space Cadet Pinball on Windows. Also I spend too much time cheating in video games (but in a different way; with unintentional glitches). -_- It's for Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow though, you can practically turn them into a new game with glitches.
