Octoman? Yeah... I've never really been sure if he's a Zelda cameo or not. I've always included him under "and the rest..." along with Zoda and Leon (sometimes Nintendo is unintentionally self-referential).
I don't know whether that's what the Japanese think octopii look like in cartoons in general. If it were, then it wouldn't be a cameo... just a cultural thing.

I just got the Wario Ware game for the GameCube today, and it's awesome! I also found 2 Zelda cameos: I also got Wario Ware today (my brain hurts already) but about the cameos: I don't think the treasure chest opening is the Zelda one. There's only three notes and not four, and it doesn't sound enough like it. As for the other one, I got the credits opened, but there were no Triforces. Do they randomly appear as one of the shapes? Got lots of cat-heads though

I only got a few cat-heads, so I guess it happens randomly.

You missed out Kirby: Nightmare In Dreamland. It has a bigger reference to Zelda than Kirby Super Star.
When Kirby has sword ability, he doesn't just have a similar hat to Link... his sword looks almost, if not exactly like the Master Sword. If I remember correctly the Super Star sword had a kinda golden blade with a brown handle or something...

Recently got e-mailed a new cameo in Animal Crossing. If you give nook the code:
WB2&pARAcnOwnU jMCK%hTk8JHyrT
... you'll get 30,000 bells and which he'll say came from "Project Hyrule".

Umm, Project Hyrule is just a team of people who made a code generator for Animal Crossing... So the code you have there is probably just a code made with that code generator.

Ah, never heard about that before. Alot of the universal codes in Animal Crossing make mention of contests and such that I guess Nintendo never got around to doing... I assumed it had something to do with that.

An enemy worth mentioning in Four Swords -
Bubbling Lava, which is a fiery enemy that jumps out of the lava to attack. In Mario, there's an enemy called Lava Bubble (Podoboo). I can provide the sprite, perhaps even a screen.

You missed out Kirby: Nightmare In Dreamland. It has a bigger reference to Zelda than Kirby Super Star. Did I miss that off the list? Oh dear. That cameo's been up on NinDB for ages though. I think Sword Kirby is borrowing more and more from Link all the time. It becomes hard when a cameo becomes in-series continuity.

I was just looking on an Animal Crossing site ( Animal Crossing Online)... It also has a list of all the fish that can be caught, including those stupid puns Anyway, it seems that if you catch a Loach, the player character says: "You don't suppose it's Hylian, do you?" Would that be a Zelda cameo? I'm not really sure... I haven't catched a Loach myself though, I only got it from that site.

Yes it would be (the Hylian Loach was the hardest fish to catch in Ocarina of Time), but it's already been mentioned, and I've noted it down already.

Wow! doesn't Zelda have the most cameos in all of Nintendo games.

No, Mario's WAY out in front. Although I didn't mention the Zelda cameo in Yoshi's Story in this thread...
