While I haven't played the game, a new hardware cameo popped up today with the Sizzle Season content update. The SNES's Super Scope light bazooka gun peripheral finally becomes playable as it makes it's way into Splatoon 3 as the "S-Blast 92" Functioning as a Blaster weapon. While part of the base game and seen during trailers before the game released, the shopkeeper Melody plays with an Ultra Hand Her tableturf battle card also features it. Artwork of the band Chirpy Cheeps (known as ABXY in Japan for the SNES buttons) for Splatoon 2 features more Nintendo hardware. Starting from right hand side, SNES controllers plugged into a SNES TV? See the cartridge sticking out the top of the TV. Below that Famicom hardware. In lower centre: Game Boy Camera. Two Game Boys (different models?) Game Boy Advance. Nintendo DSi XL (note the camera in the hinge and hinge width is different compared a to a New 2DS. Also the "edge" color is different to the inside surface). Left side Diskun on the side of the green monitor surface. Super Scope pointing upright. NES cart on table?
