I like a uniform template, but I like the layout being there when I'm working on it offline even more, so I've gone with one on each page Progress report: Going well. All the arcade and Color TV Game pages are done, and I'm at work on the NES games. A few small surprises have been added But not till it's all ready... which hopefully won't be TOO long Edit: Hey, like the Animal Forest's look, Narf! Swanky! ;D

Progress Report: Going slowly now. I'm chugging through the NES pages, but there's a lot of them to chug through. And I've got a rotten cold, which doesn't help in the slightest.
Still, the layout is set in stone, so now I just have to make sure it works!

Why don't you go back to your previous design?

Because I'd have to change too much. As it happens I'm settling for a halfway house on the design, so I don't have to change too much, while at the same time changing it to make me happy.
For instance, the Nintendo DS section currently uses stylesheets. Aside from the colours of the fonts, links and titles you couldn't tell the difference, right? Well they have a LOT less HTML in them.

I don't mind much how long all this will take, just as long as the site works and the content is great ;D
