Spend as much time playing the game as you spend on the forums, and maybe you will persevere  I'm a bit crap at Punch-Out!! too, to be honest. NES games were hard! No wonder I spent most of my early years playing nothing but Mario games and puzzle games. Oh wait... I still do... ;D |

Yesterday, I managed to last 'til the third round. Y'know, YL mentioned in another thread that he felt traditional gamers were being left out, and I've heard a similar sentiment in several other places. I don't agree, but in my case, remembering how hard NES games were when I was younger, I think I gravitate towards hard games as my way of preserving my "traditional" gaming habits. And yet, when I download the original Castlevania thinking it'll last me for weeks, and I end up doing a 1CC the next day, it's more of an indication of how much better a player I am now than I was then. |

I know what you mean. I could never beat games like Super Mario 64 when I was younger. So I decided to go back, and I got every star  |

Castlevania still eludes my defeating it. I will one day, I'm sure. *sigh*
Although, I did get all the stars on SM64 on my first go back in '96. ^_^
I consider one of my prouder gaming victories to beating two Boss M. Bisons in Street Fighter Alpha 3's World Tour mode. You had two fights you had to win before that with super tough bosses too, but when Boss Bison fires off a Final Psycho Crusher...you better be blocking or you're dead! Good times.

No it doesn't. Wouldn't it be crap for me to receive an email on the 6th March saying "Happy birthday from Nintendo Database"! I might as well send myself a card in the post.
Also, my birthdays tend to be cursed, so I wish everyone a very CRAPPY birthday! Bwahahaha.
