These have been around for a few months now but I only decided to try them recently. They are similar to the NSF (NES), SPC (SNES) and GBS (Game Boy) sound formats that have been available for years. They both appear to work very well and I can't stop listening to Mario Golf - Advance Tour's soundtrack. The N64 soundtracks can be downloaded at hcs.freeshell.org/usf.htmlThe GBA soundtracks can be downloaded at www.caitsith2.com/gsf/

I stumbled across the N64 one by accident a little while before any files were actually released. Can't wait for the Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack. And hopefully the Pokémon Stadium soundtracks will be available soon. Most people don't even notice the music in those games, but Pokémon Stadium 2 still has one of my favorite N64 soundtracks. Along with Majora's Mask, StarFox 64 and Paper Mario.

I only hope this topic (and the links) survives until I get my old laptop computer back. Why did I have to spill coke over the keyboard? I'm not kidding. That's what happened.
The borrowed computer I'm using has the most unusual sound problems I have ever seen in a computer, so it doesn't matter how much I want to listen to those soundtracks: I'm completely screwed.

It's a bit buggy but it has 173 tracks from the game, although most are only a few seconds long.

Hey, that's excellent. If there's one thing I love its a good game soundtrack to listen to while I'm working on the site.

Well! This looks great! Anyone know where I can get NSF/SPC/GBS soundtracks? Some of those older games have decent tracks. And what's the format for GCN (if anyone could get to it)?

Take a look at this site: www.zophar.net/music.htmlAnd no, I don't think there's a special format for GCN music. So far I've only seen sites that have GCN music as MP3 files.

The N64 soundtracks have only just been uncovered and released, and that came out about 8 years ago. I think we might have a while to wait on GC soundtracks.

Sad news! I recently mailed NOA and they said the company making the soundtracks is no longer making soundtracks. Maybe the GC should be called GCS...

I meant the tracks.

Do you mean CD soundtracks? That's probably what NOA meant. The people doing the GBA and N64 soundtracks that we're talking about aren't a company - it's a bunch of internet-based programmers and Nintendo fans.
