Hi people...
So, who here has Pikmin or has played it? I've played it and thought it was cool...
Pikmin 2 will be out soon, and it looks better than cool - it looks amazing with the new gameplay, multiplayer, and so on...
Who here will be getting P2?
Of course, if I'm going to get P2, I have to get P1 - it's the LAW...

I don't have Pikmin 1, I didn't like the idea of having a time limit. But I think I've read somewhere that Pikmin 2 won't have a time limit, so I am gonna buy that one... When it comes out. And when I have enough money.

I've got Pikmin and it is awesome. The time limit is only there to make the game exciting... You only have a certain amount of time to assemble your troops, fight enemies and collect items, so it gets exciting.
True that Pikmin 2 won't have a time limit, but apparently it loses nothing because it's still huge without it.
Hooray! Pi-ku-min! Pi-ku-min!

Yea, I've had Pikimn for a while and I love it.
And I actualy did like the time limit part. It makes it more of a strategy game then a adventure game with an army following you. You can't just go out with-out thinking about it. You've got to plan the whole day out ahead if you want to get everything done.

I'm wondering how good Pikmin2 will be WITHOUT the time limit. Not having it seems odd.

P2 adds a new dimension of collection, apparently, with some 200 items to collect during the course of the game.
Also, I really think the multiplayer will be a much valued addition to the game... I am considering purchasing P1 as the price here in Australia is very low now...

Hm, seeing how everyone here doesn't really mind the time limit, I guess it's not that bad. I might get it now too, it's pretty cheap here too (about € 20,-)

Pikmin 2 does have a time limit for each stage. Although you can play it for as many days as you like. Pikmin 1 is awesome, but I'm stuck in the Distant Spring. The little flying insects are very annoying. Pikmin 2 will also have 2-player fun, so if you're stuck, a friend can help.

Yeah, but the story mode is one player only.
I can't wait, though. I really want this....
Oh, and Pikmin 1 was very simple. Those flying insects are easy once you've got aiming down good. Just lob a few on top of him, and watch him go down, and then set the rest of your pikmin all over him.
Oh, and what specifically are you having trouble with?

No, time never passes underground.
Days STILL pass by overground, but you can play for as many days as you like.
