Yea, we should pretty much know of the new FE game for GBA. I think it looks cool, but it sucks it's at a new continent which means Eliwood or Roy won't be there. But here's the link from the Japanese sit of N. www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/ae7j/sinsaku2/index.html

... You do realise that there are 7 Fire Emblem games with 2 more in development, and they ALL have completely different characters and settings... Well, except 1 and 3 - Marth is the hero of both of them (but that's because the first part of FE 3 is actually a remake of FE1). It's customary for Fire Emblem games to have different characters. Time to get used to it, eh?

Kinda like Final Fantasy, or do they at least take place in the same world?

I think they take place in the same world in different nations/continents or at different points in history. I think I read somewhere that there's supposed to be a bloodline between several characters from different games.
But don't hold me to that.

I agree with that, but were not sure about FE6 and 7 taking place in another world than FE's 1-5.

I think they all take place on the same world... some may take place on different continents, however.
I don't think Fire Emblem is trying to conjure up some kind of alternate world theory or anything, ala Zelda. I think it's just trying to be fancy. With swords.

There are two, but Intelligent Systems is making a third for the GBA, and another for the Gamecube.
Plus 2 on the Famicom and 3 on the Super Famicom.

I hope they put out a Fire Emblem collection some day so that we can play the rest of 'em...

Yeah, it's called the Nintendo of Japan website. They have a habit of getting games way before they're announced over here. A lot of other websites, including English ones, tend to cover these announcements as well. Nintendojo.com is a good one as they tend to follow the Japanese press as well, where a lot of these games are announced... though this Fire Emblem has been announced for AGES.
From what I can tell, Seika no Kouseki means roughly: Evil Saint Kouseki (where Kouseki is a name, though rather than evil, it could be "demon saint").
