According to the Magic Box Weekly Famitsu had a survey asking readers which next-gen system they were most interesed in, and oddly enough the REV came out on top with 42.2%, followed by the PS3 at 39.9%, and ending with the 360 with 18%.

Nintendo's always done well in Japan, and their "innovative" ideas have done VERY well over there too.
In fact, you can almost guarantee that if a game is derided as "niche" or a "quirky title" then it's done well over in Japan. I'm glad Nintendo Europe is trying to follow in their footsteps rather than NoA's.

Personaly I think it was luck the first 2 sold well and heres why PS1-Because it used CD. Something new and slik,sortof PS2-the cheapest DVD player out there. If it wasn't luck then why did the DS beat the PSP, because jacking a system full of multi-media things DOSN'T WORK!!!!!!  . And the ev will do better because they buy the system for the games. Not the DVD cell-phone and Toaster features. |
