Are there going to be more games? Has Nintendo even stated one way or the other?
The only reason I ask is that while the Japanese set has plenty of neat games in it, the American release is looking a little slim. I have hope that Nintendo will re-release Wrecking Crew and a few of the others from Famicom Mini series 2 and 3 that made it to the states, but for NES Classics series 2 they only announced four games.
What I'd really like is for Nintendo of America to go ahead and translate the Famicom Mini series games that weren't released here, then maybe release them as a collection of some kind. I'd love to play Famicom Tantei Club and Nazo no Murasame. But I know that probably won't happen.

If it's any comfort, Nazo no Murasame Jou doesn't actually have that much to translate. I would also love to see some kind of collection of Japan-only Famicom games, but somehow I feel it won't happen - it's a little bit TOO specialised.
Nintendo's official stance so far is that this is PROBABLY the last series of Famicom Mini games. What that actually means is: "We don't want to saturate the market with classic games, but at the same time my Porsche needs a refit and my yacht isn't big enough!"

I too would like to see some 'different' stuff - Wrecking Crew, Mario Bros. DK Jr., DK3, Super Mario Bros. 2 (the Japanese version) - they would be very cool to have...
Won't happen though...

Nintendo might annouce more games in the future, and furthermore...I can't seem to find any one them anywhere, and by the way I found Famicom-style GBA SP.

What I would like to see in Famicom Mini Series 3 are:
1. Devil World (It is about time that Nintendo have to release this game in America. There are already lots of blasphemous games out already in America.)
2. Nazo no Murasame Jou (I want a Zelda-like game but n a different setting and different storyline.)

Compared to other games released around the same time it is actually quite engaging. I don't think I'd ever screamed "No, eat the Ice Cream!! NO! Get out of there, or you'll be... BASTARDO!" so many times.
