As all of you know the Evil stock holders forced Capcom to make RE4 for PS2. Heres my question. Why is "Only for GC" on the case.

Becaused it launched GCN exclusive. Just like Viewtiful Joe.
Nintebdo fans may have a hard time grasping the concept as just about all our exclusive games are published by Nintendo, but generaly "exclusive" doesn't mean forever. Many times as short as 3 months. And RE4 for PS2 won't be out for at least a year.

Breaking News: Resident Evil 4 may be changed from Gamecube version on PS2Friday 01/21/05 In a press conference arranged by Capcom today, the company's PR agent Simon Sezwaltz helped to sort out some of the confusion surrounding the violent survival-horror game Resident Evil 4. "We are making the game for the Playstation 2 as well as for the Gamecube," he said, adding, "we know we said we wouldn't, but the people involved are all eating their heads as we speak. Don't say we never keep our word." The confusion arose after a leaked screenshot depicted the game with slightly lower resolution graphics than those seen in the Gamecube version. Sezwaltz had this to say: "I can confirm today that the screenshot is real. We found the PS2 architecture difficult to work with at first, but after all these years the company has learned the system's limitations, and we are working to resolve them on this graphically intensive game." For those who missed that telling screenshot, here it is again, 100% official:  At least it looks better than Code Veronica!

I think it might get canceled because...
1)PS2 couldn't handle it
2)Action comandes would just suck
3)grafics would suck so bad
4)PS2 dosn't use 2 disk games
5)Remember that Rumor the ToS would be on PS2. Well where is it?
