It looks quite good, now we only have to hope it get's the F-Zero AX treatment and becomes a console game.

.... Why is Donkey Kong purple?
I can't say I'm terribly excited about the game after how Namco treated StarFox.

.... Why is Donkey Kong purple? Perhaps he's using some sort of shield powerup or something... Anyway, this looks quite cool! I also hope a console version of this is gonna be made, since arcades are almost a rarity here, I believe... Also, a Triforce system board? Sounds familiar

There's a good shot of the top of the arcade cabinet which shows all the characters. Can anyone tell who the ones between Pac-Man and Yoshi are? I think they look like Ms. Pac-Man and possibly one of the Ghosts, but I can't really be sure.

It looks like a Goomba to me. Edit: It's actually the red ghost from Pac-Man (Blinky I think). Here's an advert that shows it more clearly: Hopefully this game is like Namco's Tekken series, where new charaters a released after a certain time.

Yup, the red one is Blinky. I guess we can start wildly speculating about secret characters:
Waluigi - since he seems to show up in pretty much all these Mario spin-offs nowadays.
Daisy - Ditto.
Ninja from I-Ninja, Mappy, Klonoa, Mr. Driller - With Pac-Man and co. being included I think its a pretty safe bet that more Namco characters may show up as well, and I think these ones fit the bill for a Mario crossover the best.
Sonic - j/k. Actually, since this is running on Triforce hardware, the thought of Sonic being in this isn't completely ridiculous. But still, don't count on it.

Look at the top-right corner of the ad, there you can see something with "ITEM BOX"... Do I see a pair of DK Bongos there? Meh, I guess I shouldn't really be surprised, since Namco made Donkey Konga too...

Wow...
That's pretty damn cool. Arcade Mario Kart...
Suddenly my interest in Mario Kart has re-emerged (and I was going to sell off all my Mario Kart stuff...) - if this hit the next Nintendo, then things could get very very cool - largely due to the possibility of NEW GAMEPLAY MECHANICS...
I will wait and watch... & watch and wait...

Is it just me or did Nintendo buy out Namco and just forget to tell anybody?

Hm, those are the DK Bongos. Huh. Nice to see Boo's back. His omission hurt MK: DD. New items, too...hammers, anyone? Heh. I read that there's 24 tracks. I hope this hits the Cube.

Is it just me or did Nintendo buy out Namco and just forget to tell anybody? Heh heh, that would be one of the coolest things ever... imagine the blow to Sony if all the Ridge Racer games went Nintendo exclusive. And the "Tales of..." series. And let's not forget Mr. Driller! Hoorah! At the same time... nah... still, nice to see a high-profile company taking a lot of work off Nintendo's hands

I wish there was more info on this game...
There's always just too little info to make my mind up n Nitendo-related stuff...
I lie in wait of new info - this could very well be the evolution of the series that Mario Kart should have seen on the GCN...
I still want to see (for the next gen console) a Mario Kart game with as much graphical "WOW" as GT4 is managing on the PS2 (if not more) - I want to see reflections off car surfaces, new driving mechanics, every hair in Mario's moustache visible (and this would apply to every Mario Bros. game thereafter), more voice acting, many more courses, customizeable aspects (maybe cars, maybe character clothing, who knows???0, etc.
If we ever got that, then I'd be totally sold and would never doubt Nintendo again... until the next time I doubt them... ;D

Being able to see every hair in Mario's mustache... would be very, very creepy. I WOULD like to have more voice acting, though... I really enjoy hearing Charles Martinet's voices. I don't know why. ;D
