So, I finally managed to download a full, hi-res version of the video and listen to it with the sound up high. I will admit it didn't have QUITE the same effect on me as the first Zelda GC video, but then very little does. But it does look awesome - and I can see a lot of Zelda history pouring out in gorgeously rendered loveliness. The Ghoma chase looks particularly impressive, the horse/pigback riding looks good, the fighting looks standard (re: good) and collecting cats in the forest looks.... well... made me laugh anyway. I am jealous of all E3-goers who will get a chance to play this. But then I'd be jealous of you anyway. Might as well get used to it

I still gotta beat every Zelda game. Yeah... I always give up on games easily. Bah, I'll play through them all eventually.

The only (proper) Zelda games I haven't completed are Zelda II and one of the Oracles (whichever one had the witch at the end).
I would suggest you get Wind Waker out of the way though. If rumour and speculation prove correct, this new Zelda is a follow up to TWW

I've heard of this Zelda GC game, featuring Link as an adult for the 2nd time (the 1st time was Zelda II, and Ocarina of Time doesn't count) The graphics seems good, and the graphical style of the game differs from other games. www.nintendo.co.jp/ngc/zeldamovie/zelda.wmv

Err... yes, we've all been getting excited about it for nearly a year now... we know it features an adult (well... teenage) Link... Dude, these forums go weird sometimes

If rumour and speculation prove correct, this new Zelda is a follow up to TWW I really do hope that Zelda 2005 is the sequel to TWW! Just imagine the story unfolding and telling us how Hyrule came from its watery grave.

Of course it could be the story of Link finding an all-new Hyrule. The hints, it seems, misguided me somewhat though... apparently it follows from TWW chronologically, but isn't necessarily the same Link or anything.
But we shall see... later this year we shall see!
