Do you think this is real? Well, if you did, you're wrong. I was bored yesturday so I decided I would just fiddle around with what I thought the logo for Nintendo's next system should look like and that's what I got. Hmmm... perhaps this topic should actualy have a point... hmm... lesse... Ah, yes. What do you think the logo for Nintendo's next system should look like?

I doubt Revolution will be the final name, but if it was I can't think of anything other than the Dreamcast logo for some reason.

If it is going to be a 256-bit console (It'd better to be! ~Wait, does 256-bit processors exist?) then I think it may be called N256.... Well forget what I said.
The new logo, perhaps, can be another cube-shaped thing (Justlike the logo of Nintendo 64 and Gamecube). I douubt if it is going to be in Gamecube blue colour.

Not a bad mock-up there Narf. I didn't think it was real, but I like it. Whatever the name is, Nintendo might wannt to think about opting for a sleek modern look. It could work in their favour...

While I don't think the system will be called revolution, I think the logo may play on the name revolution, by having a logo that looks like it is revolving / spinning.

Wait, does 256-bit processors exist? No. But, generaly almost nothing uses more then 32-bit anyway becouse anything above that is completely useless.

by having a logo that looks like it is revolving / spinning. Haven't most of Nintendo's logo's spinned?

What would be a nice effect is if the 5 was an N rotated to be a 5.

As time passes, my feeling of "this logo is based on the Gamecube logo" grows stronger.
The reason is nothing but the colour~ It looks nothing like the Gamecube logo, except:
(1) Gamecube blue in colour; (2) based on a Cube shape (3) Square text (4) The logo is based on letters.
Of course, a design like this will mostly not be used for the new logo.
