AND I COMPLETED BREAK THE TARGETS, GOT THE REMAINING STAGES, AND GOT A LOT OF TROPHIES!!!
Sorry, guys; I'm just so excited!!!
Now I just need to get Sheriff, Diskun and a few other trophies.
However, has anyone ever got the Diskun trophy without using Action Replay? And, is it true that Action Replay can damage your Gamecube? Can someone explain this to me?

Ah man!
I suck at those harder level SSBM fights - the CPU characters go CRAZY! As a result, I've found it VERY hard to unlock a lot of the SSBM stuff.
I have MOST of the courses (but not all), all the characters, All-Stars mode (or whatever it's called) and about 230 trophies.
You know those 50 hard challenges that there are? The last 15 or so (maybe even 20) I can't beat.
I prefer multiplayer - more fun.
How do you unlock sound test mode - I really want that! ;D

It's semi-very hard. I think HAL doesn't known that most gamers just can't get everything in that game. In order to get Sound Test you must have the following things: You have unlocked all of the levels You have won all of the Event Stages Whenever you complete both of them you will get the Sound Test! To find out how to get all of the stages, go to the Super Smash Bros. Melee section on NinDB and click on "Secrets & Cheats". You can also find tips on how to beat the event stages. Good luck and don't get discouraged!

I unlocked it (and the last couple of arenas and finished the rest of the target challenges) late last year / early this year when I started playing it again. If I had more time I'd compare the date when I did that with the rest. I might do that next time I'm on.
And I think HAL do know how hard it is, I think they wanted it to be. Nothing quite as cool as finally finishing something really hard, even if you are about 3 years behind. More developers should do this.

Though I unlocked that mode early in 2002, I had a hard time of trophies.
I still can't get Crazy Hand (The method to unlock it is just CRAZY!) and Giga Bowser.
I've beaten Crazy Hand in Classic mode... ONCE only (with Luigi).
Anyway, it's hardness is exactly what keeps me playing that game!

I don't have the Crazy Hand trophy but I do have Giga Bowser.
I think HAL should have a cheat codes so that if you can't get that beloved trophy by doing (insert extremely hard challenge here), you can get it by just typing in a code (like Star Wars: Rebel Strike). The cheat codes can also save you $30 so you don't have to buy an Action Replay! ;D

I don't really care about the rest, actually.

Are the event matches THAT hard? What I can say is, practice. if you can keep practising for years, then I think you should be able to unlock everything (unless the special trophies and Capt Olimar trophy)

I beat event 51 with Jigglypuff, and it took over 9 minutes to do it. I call it the "I'm a coward" method.

Event 50 was actually harder, which took me 12 minutes with Ganandorf keeping Smash Up+A. I considered Yoshi's Aerial Down+A but failed to do it.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I might have used Fox for event match 50.
As for 51, I just used Rest constantly to get rid of Giga Bowser, then constantly ran (and jumped) away from Mewtwo and Ganondorf until I could grab items which I could use to kill them (strangely, the Lip Stick was the best for this). That what you did?

I used Ganondorf for Event 50 after failing abysmally for the 20th time with Yoshi (everyone kept telling me he owned that level... what a crock... Ganondorf even beats him hands down at the Sandbag minigame... Yoshi is officially rubbish).
Event 51? Well, I did of course use the Jigglypuff "Coward" method as well. Took me around 7 and a half minutes to do that. I think I eventually got up the guts to start pummelling the remaining players with midair-started Rollout attacks... at least until my health looked bad, then it was back to throwing items at them.
Even Jigglypuff is more useful than Yoshi!

I played Jigglypuff for Event 51 and actually used rest through the entire level! I first KO'd Giga Bowser with rest and while I do that I also knocked out Ganondorf as well. As for Event 50... well I didn't do it. My 9 year old brother played with the Ice Climbers and won!

Well if your brother finished it with Ice Climber then I may want to try it also. I don't think it's possible for me though...
