Is it just me, or does this look kick@$$? They have the co-op partners back! And a buncha old enemies! And that broom ability!

Yeah, co-op parnters was the first thing I noticed... maybe this game is 4-player?
It looks closer to Kirby Super Star than Kirby 64, which is a step back in the right direction.

Yeah... the movie clearly showed Kirby with three partners. Which is why I said FOUR players.

Awesome. It's Kirby Superstar x 2! I want this game.

I like the character modelling in this game. HAL has really come along since making SSBM.

Come to think of it, I was pretty impressed by the character modelling in Kirby 64, too. It was simple, but it worked perfectly that way. And I loved all the movies.
The biggest problem I had with Air Ride was that some of the scenery was too detailed to feel like a Kirby game (And even that wasn't VERY detailed). But I guess games may not sell as well with simpler graphics...

Kirby Air Ride's graphics are on an average. I don't see a lot of fancy effects, but look at some stages like Ckeckknights (Japanese version name), its graphics are good.
And my GC "lag"s when playing a 3P or 4P game of City Trial. Simple graphics doesn't mean proccessor-friendly.
Kirby Air Ride (Kirby GC should be in the same way) is relatively simpler than SSBM, but of course, less buggy. Something like the SSBM is actually not the Kirby way, but I like that.
Speaking of Kirby Super Star and Kirby 64, the idea of having brooms and partners does not come from Super Star, but graphically it still looks like Sakurai's work (His games are in the Super Star style - look at SSBM and Amazing Mirror and maybe Air Ride to learn what his style is.)

This has been brought up by people I know...would having four players make the game TOO easy? Kirby games aren't usually very difficult.
Even so, it should still be fun.

Having multiple players might have something to do with puzzles like the ones found in Magic Mirror.
For instance, one player steps on a switch to open a gate while another goes through to gather an item.
But this is the game I am most excited about.

I expect it will make it easier... like having two players in Kirby Super Star made that easier. It also had puzzles that were solved a lot more easily if you had a friend.
But I stick to my original comments... the character designs are splendiferous.

I checked the vid from nintendo.co.jp and found that it should be a 4-player game. Maye it'll be one more excuse for me to buy it. Quite a good marriage of Kirby 64 and Kirby Super Star, gh? Kirby games aren't usually very difficult. Nah, I still have trouble beating certain stadium games in Kirby Air Ride. That game, just like SSBM, has unlockables from the easiest to the hardest.

Speaking of AirRide, I thought it was neat that they included AirRide characters like the fire-elephants and birds in this game.

A four player Kirby platformer is genius. I just hope that it is MUCH longer than Superstar, and that your partners (when controlled by a computer) is NOT RETARDED. In Superstar, my partner would kill all the badguys in his way, leaving no powers for me.
