The new Game Boy has been announced. The Game Boy Micro will be available this fall... is slightly larger, but lighter, than an iPod, and is called an "extension of portable gaming" by Mr. Fils-Aime.
But sounds like it IS an update to the GBA... though how it got that small I'll never know.
Oh yeah... the conference has started... updates begin NOW!

Finally! DS can be proved to be the "thrid pillar".
I think it's just a GBA update though...

It is... and here is the system: So teeny. There's a pic of Reggie holding one somewhere... but that's not really fair, because we all know Reggie has hands the size of Idaho.

I actually might get that despite I already have a DS.
Then I'll sell my SP.

Nope I will NOT get that Game Boy Micro console because it is a waste of my money, and I already have an original GBA and a GameCube Game Boy Player for my GBA gaming. The only problems with the Game Boy Micro is that it doesn't play standard Game Boy and GBC games, and my hands would hurt more with that small device just like the SP because my hands are big. I did the same thing when I refused to buy a Game Boy Advance SP, because I use an official Japanese Battery Pack for my original GBA to save money on batteries the original way of joy.

*sigh*...ANOTHER GBA remake? Meh, I say! Like Kun, I have the original, and that's all I really need. This Micro GBA looks really useless...

Actually... Will them sell?
People get SP after GBA because of its backlight and portbility. But for this one, what is its useful feature?
Anyway, the GBA supporting feature of the DS will just decrease the selling amount of GBA variations.
What I'm sure is that I'm not going to have one... because of my DS.

It's major selling point is its tiny size, which makes it ideal for people who don't want to fill a pocket with a GBA SP or a DS. The custom face designs just add to that "compact mobile phone" sort of market. The people who like little gadgets rather than big chunky experimental products.
It will hopefully sell the Game Boy to a market who doesn't usually own it.

Another upgraded GBA? Sounds good. This should sell well anyways.

Look at the amount of people that buy new mobile phones because they are smaller than their old ones. They don't necessarily do anything new, but they are more portable.
Besides, WarioWare Twisted has gotta be easier on that. Surely.
