It's a normal perfectly good strategy, it's not like it's a cheat or anything.
And no, I actually don't find snakers annoying.

It's simply too competative. If I want to get my nose driven into the dirt because of competition, I'll go play sports, not video games.

ITS AN INTENTIONAL PART OF THE GAME.
People are always complaining and complaining in WarCraft III about how "cheap" certain things are, but all you have to do is find a way to counter it. Most of the time their wrong.
In this case: blue shells and snaking.

Blue shell are bad in every gaame except 64. Also snaking does lower the usefulness of some characters. I just dont use it and quit on those who do. You'll find you always lose with saking because 1)Those who cant snake will quit and 2)Those who can are better then you.

ITS AN INTENTIONAL PART OF THE GAME. It's more of an exploit than anything else. If it were intentional, don't you think it'd be in a manual as a valid driving technique?

Blue shells, I agree, are an intentional part of the game. They're there to give beginner players a chance against expert players (which can be annoying, but there you go. Snaking is legitimate too, although it really does add an unfair advantage to those who don't mind bleeding fingers and broken hardware

So using Dry Bones, Waluigi, and the secret characters are therefor exploits too. As well as using alternate cars that your character didn't come with.
Man! That WiFi is just full of cheaters!

Not really PWNT, since the four secret characters and the 20 secret cars didn't accidently end up in the game, nor do they change the way the game is played. Snaking, on the other hand, does both.

Snaking didn't 'accidentally' end up in the game though. It was put in intentionally.
And their presence does effect the game to a degree, since after all, they are stat-based.

I remember reading an interview with the folks behind Mario Kart DS... they said it was indeed a real strategy and that they also used it themselves.
I too think snaking is kind of lame, but it's definately not cheating.

And Tei made it clear that he never called it 'cheating' - he just called it a cheap tactic.
And it is.

But it was put in intentionally, just like Waluigi and Dry Bones.
I'm not sure about the earlier Mario Kart games, it probably was an accident then, but in MKDS, it's in INTENTIONALLY.
If you don't like an aspect of the game, don't play it. I just don't understand your logic. I find Fox's uB annoying, but that doesn't mean he should be removed from SSB does it?
