It's ironic because the Endless Melee is what it says: ENDLESS. That means that it doesn't stop until you are done. (You can go on for 40 minutes and it wouldn't end.) In theory, if you were playing to KO as many bastards as you can, you could would get an all-you-can-smash-buffet on Fighting Wire Frames. The 15-Minute Melee, however, is different. You only have 15 minutes to kill as many enemies as possible.Basically, what I was saying is that I got more KO's in the 15-Minute Melee than I did in the Endless Melee. To quote Kevin Spacey: WRONG! Irony is defined as incongruity between what one would expect and what actually occurs. For all we know your Endless Melee lasted half as long as your 15-Minute Melee, which is why the score is doubled. Is it funny (as in funny-funny, not ha-ha-funny)? Yep. Is it a coincidence? Yeah, I'd line that up. But ironic? Hardly. Irony would be an inexperienced player going into a battle and winning against one of those hardcore Smashers you were making fun of in the SSBB topic. Irony would be me catching a piece of hot British tail before the age of 25. Irony would be you choosing to leave this board on your own free will before you got in some kind of trouble. Catching my drift, mate? :)

"It's the good advice that you just didn't take... and who would've thought this song would go on to be one of the most popular songs of the '90s when it's quite clearly nonsense"
Thanks Tei, you hideous yeti!!

"Its like ten-thousand spoons, when all you need is a knife"
IRONICALLY, I'm sat here listening to a CD of nineties hit songs whilst typing this. Theyre all great, because it was the decade I grew up in, and it rocked. Remember Venga Boys? Or Aqua's "Barbie Girl"? Classic.

Jesus H Christ!! I was trying NOT to remember the Venga Boys or Aqua! So thank you very much for reminding me!! How about "I'm blue daboodidaboodow" That on there? That uber sucked too. Gah, I used to think the 90s were a good time for music. I was wrong. Now is a good time for music. Give me indie rock n roll in spades. Also, you don't have to dance to it, which RULES.

I was in the Blue team every single year for Sports Day - for obvious reasons I've hated that f***ing 'daboodidaboodow' song as it was played ad nauseum on every one of those days.
I don't remember if it was early 00s or late 90s, but at least those songs are better than the f***ing Ketchup Song. Holy s*** that was bad.

You're clearly all uneducated swine. 80s music is where it's truly at!! ;D I concur! Phil, they're those days when schools force children to participate in various sports activities. Unless "Sports Day" is code for something.

I wondering what you guys look like. *begins to wonder* I am trying so hard not to enter Indy Music Snob mode. I mean it. You make it so difficult. As for what I look like...well, that would spoil the magic now, wouldn't it?

I stopped being a music snob when the Red Hot Chilli Peppers released their By The Way album.
It proved to me that even bands that a vast majority of my contemporaries think are pushing the boundaries and truly keeping alive the spirit of rock can put out an utter piece of crap and market it in such a way that people want it. In short, Gods of Rock are just as manufactured and capable of crap music as Britney or The Cheeky Girls.
So now I keep my mouth firmly shut. There's music I like, and music I don't like. There is no music other people shouldn't like.
