Flaw 1: He actually NAMED 45 characters, not 44. He HAS to be wrong on something. Oh lawl. That disproves it right there. Pretty bad roster if you ask me.

I can give you the later post if you want... I just saved it and the last one as it is a good starting place for me to unlock characters, until I know how to actually unlock them. Yeah, or the topic where it came from.

Oh man, interesting stuff. Of course, the Top Brawler doesn't deconfirme it off the bat. It's mostly looking from a friends profile (might have read wrong). I don't know if it's real, but it's some cool stuff. Gotta give the man credit.

Obviously this is a ploy to deprive us of updates so that when they resume next week, we'll be so desperate that we'll be thrilled by anything. Dammit, Sakurai is a genius.

Seeing as we survived two sets of six months without any new information to speak of (between E3 06 and Nintendo World 06, then Nintendo World 06 to when the Dojo started weekdaily updates), a week of nothing new oughtn't to be a problem, right guys? That's what you think. Also, Parrothead, why don't you add that notice to the first post and we can make this the official thread. Just a thought.

To Smashchu: Yes, but that's not what you did. You quite heavily insulted DiU. That is why your post was deleted. I didn't say I did or didn't do anything. I just said why I did it.

I survived the axe *phew* Now I feel sorry for trying to promote character support >.< I'm kind of dazed through this whole ordeal now, but I don't think you drumming up support for a character is reason to face the Admin Axe. Right now this entire MB seems to be going a little out of its head waiting for the game to come out; I'll be the first to admit I haven't been visiting as frequently 'cause it feels like all we have right now are character support camps. Once the full roster gets revealed - which is soon I should hope - I imagine the board and its members will reach an enjoyable level again.
I'll also admit that I've taken to posting less frequently because I felt as if I were only contributing to problems instead of resolving them...I feel like the wait is making me go bathobo insane too. Oops.I think too many people clump debate with a bad thing. it's not. It's fine to debate, and can be fun. I had no problem with the debate as it was, and more point were said then what DiU said (the topic was shifting a lot. If you read it, you'll see there was a lot more then the few points). Which is why I got irate. A lot of arguments are going to throw the same points around. It should (to some degree). You develop main points and try to build on those with evidence to strengthen them. You should be able to summarize the points into a few sentences, but that misses the bulk, thus why we debate (or part of it at least). Thus, we call it an outline. The points will, somewhat, go back and forth. A real debate will do that. Throwing around the points, but trying to build on them each time. Remember, few strong points are better then many smaller points. If you really want to contribute, and make a good debate, then add either a new point or expand on something you already said. Also, keep in mind that there isn't going to be many varied points for any of these arguments, not the Geno one in particular. As I've mentioned before, there isn't much backing for the arguments. So, if you add a little, you add a lot. A bit off, but I want to say don't down play the poll. It may not be Gospel Truth but, like Melee, the highest ranking characters have a VERY good chance to make it into the game.

I survived the axe *phew* Now I feel sorry for trying to promote character support >.< What, you though you were going to be the first axe. I'm for supporting the character, and I think there is nothing wrong (well, maybe some a smaller message board like this). I think we need the final roster so the debates can stop. I like them personally, but I will admit, it's old. Maybe I should just make one, big topic.

I deleted Smashchu's post - the first victim of my axe. DiU's post is quite right - this is a really, really stupid topic that has contributed nothing to the discussion about the game. DiU summarised this topic particularly well, and Smashchu's (now deleted) post was inflammatory and wrong. Smashchu - you might be the second biggest poster on this forum, but your aggressive tone is way out of line, and I am keeping a close eye on your behaviour. Your right in the second paragraph, but I felt my point was valid. It annoys the heck out of me when someone post just for the sake of complaining about a topic. Rather then complain, DiU could have added a new point to the topic. Instead, he complains saying it's the worst post on the board. But if it is, why post there. In that sense, it's flame bait to begin with. I might be arrogant, but I felt he was in the wrong. My point is that if your going to post, make it worth while. Or, at least be part of a conversation. I felt that DiU's post was just "Topic sucks, gg no re", and it annoys me when someone post JUST to say they dislike they topic which can only do more to derail it. I'll apologize on how I came off (....sorry), but I felt the point was valid. Don't post in a topic if you don't like it. That should be common sense. (I'll try to work on it, and sorry if this was mean)

Nice tl;dr post there but the fact that Mario RPG was a good game doesn't somehow qualify Geno. And yes, you are blowing it's fame out of proportions because you just want him in and remember it fondly, but that's okay. I wouldn't say that. Remember, people want Geno 11 years aftyer his game was made, and is a character who very popular and has western presence. That's more then most characters can say. In that sence, it makes sence while the flame is high. I felt a similar way back in 7th grade. I thought Geno was really cool and would be awesome in Brawl (Mallow too). I do feel the SMRPG was something special. it brought Mario's world into a story driven game, and did it well. If something qualifies a character, it's going to be popularity.

Well, with all the rumors that are out right now Geno is 50/50. Aren't pretty much all wanted characters 50/50? (50% chance they're in, and 50% chance they're not) Besides Krystal
