Just came across this. It's supposedly the Revolution controller, scanned from a Japanese magazine. There's no confirmation that this is real, and not just some photoshopped fake, but it's interesting nonetheless. Any Japanese readers? ;D I can make out the word "Gyroscope" and that's it.

I'm getting a broken image, but it's probably just my silly computer. I suspected we'd see a word like "gyroscope" when info on the controllers came out (if this is in fact correct info).

Picture doesn't work!
A part of me died when that picture didn't load. I hope you're happy, Fryguy.

Doesn't work for me, either.

Haha, it worked fine when I posted it... but as it's linked offsite from a few news sites as well it probably collapsed.
I'll try and find it and amend the link to lead of my lovely stable server instead (should've done that in the first place).

He's sitting there reading this and laughing at us! You tell s me!? Well, does the Rev controller look like an empty image holder? EDIT: I just searched over the Google database... and guess what? All I got is "Nintendo Revolution controller not done", "Nintendo still designing Revolution controller" that sort of thengs.

Wierd. Its working for me. I just a picture of 4 pieces of a control. Its as if each half of the controller is meant to be held by a hand, and neither pieces are connected. Gee, I hope the controller isn't like that when it comes out.

Wow. Looks awesome. I hope it is real.
But what are the white buttons called? I assume X and Y, but what about the other two? There's no Z or start or C, so I guess those would work. Or they could have X2 and Y2.

There we go... I think the image started working again, because it didn't work for me when I was at work, but it worked fine when I got home. It's now hosted on NinDB...
But Nintendojo (where I got this news story from) has more or less confirmed it's a fake. Apparently the Japanese is poor web-translator-style Japanese.
Still... it would have definitely remained interesting... and leads me on to a related topic:
Are you going to hate the Revolution controller at first, just because you don't 'get it'? The reason I ask is because it's happened with every alternate control method Nintendo has put out since the N64. Remember how much people hated the N64 controller? Now how many people wish they still had it for their FPS games and so on? And the fuss over the shape and placing of the Gamecube's buttons (well-founded fuss if you ask me)... and don't forget how long it's taken the DS to prove it's not just some tacky gimmick.
So... who thinks it's inevitable that people will dismiss the Revolution controller at first? Do you think you'll be among them (whether you think you will or not) or do you think you trust Nintendo enough to have produced something truly new?
I personally liked the idea of dual-hand design. ;D

Hopefully, it's not like that, and those are just sections of the controller, not seperate parts.

Right now, I'm open to anything.
I want Nintendo to give us something absolutely completely different to what we already have. I want innovation and pushing of the limits.
Whatever the REAL controller is, I can't wait to see it... ;D

Meh... I'm not a big fan of this new controller. To easy to lose. What if you only have half of a control? You're screwed then.

Everyone... it's confirmed that this pic ISN'T REAL!
Anyway, glad Andronicus is there alongside me with open arms. I will truly be disappointed if there isn't some kind of Revolutionary controller at the end of it.
But remember, the controller has to be able to play NES, SNES and N64 games comfortably. How will THAT work!?
