You've seen anime based on games, right?
And you've seen games based on anime.
For this topic, I'm talking about games based on game-based anime. Confusing, eh?
It is basicaly like this: Game (modified) -> Anime (modified again) -> Game
And, for real examples, F-Zero GP Legend and Climax. Pokemon Puzzle League and Kirby Air Ride also took elements from their anime, like short clips from Pokemon Puzzle League and some music from Air Ride.
Do you: (1) like them? (2) know what else are based on game-based anime? (3) want to see the anime itself, rather than the game version, using a console?

WHta about Pokemon Snap, which seemed to be based of the anime which was based of the game ... but then, there was a character in the anime based of that game, making some sort of bizarre "anime based on game based on anime based on game" relationship. Man, that gave me a headache.
The only game of the 4 you've listed that I've played is Pokemon Puzzle League, which I love, but because of the puzzle gameplay and not whether or not that little electric rat makes an appearance or not.

Looks like I forgot Pokemon Channel... I've played it before, but... I don't know how to play it. Watching some animations that you can't stop it isn't fun at all.
Maybe someday we'll have a "game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game based on anime based on game"..... Arrrgh! Enough of those!

Pokémon games where their cries state their own name instead of those funky sounds are examples of anime-based games. Pokémon Yellow as well, despite the only cry that was like that was Pikachu's. Do you: (1) like them? yeah, if they're good (2) know what else are based on game-based anime? I think (3) want to see the anime itself, rather than the game version, using a console? I don't know. I don't really like the Pokémon anime, but GP Legend is a sweet anime. =)

Kinda hard to say. I don't have anything against Pokemon games based on their respective anime, as at least the anime is moderately based on the game.
But no Nintendo anime seems to actually make it out over here in Europe, Pokemon aside. You'd have though at least one of the dozen kids channels would have picked up Kirby by now.
But so long as the games are done well, and play out much like the original games, then they tend to be enjoyable.

Probably kinda off-topic, but... A while ago I was looking around the 4Kids website and found a section for The Legend of Zelda. Strange, since there's no Zelda anime that I know of...

There was a Zelda cartoon back in the days of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Captain N, but as far as I know 4Kids had nothing to do with it. Strange.

A new Zelda anime with Wind Waker art-style would be great.

A while back, 4Kids bought the exclusive rights to make anime based on Nintendo video games. This was the birth of the Kirby cartoon, and the use of the anime's art and logo for some of the games (which I, personally, find stupid). Soon after came F-Zero, with the announcement of GX. They then made that GP Legend game for the GBA based on the anime.
I remember reading the article that stated they had the rights now, and if I'm not mistaken, Zelda was mentioned, as well as Mario, but neither were definites. If they haven't done it by now, though, I doubt they will.

Uh no.... 4Kids has the rights? But it is ruining the anime, according to Kirby's Rainbow Resort! They modify them, cut some episodes off, rearrange them, and everything else. NoA and 4Kids should both improve!

NoA and 4Kids should both improve! Uhm... I don't think NoA has any problems. But I agree that 4Kids should improve. I think they did a great job with Pokémon, but they messed up Kirby and Sonic X very badly... I haven't seen what they did with F-Zero, though.

Well, the reason of mentioning NoA is that they're doing the pretty much the same thing as 4Kids. They keep Japanese title be unreleased there (Look at F-Zero Climax), and sometimes, mess them up (Compare WarioWare Twisted of the two regional versions).

They did good with Pokemon sometimes, but other times they decide to be stupid. First of all they haven't brought 3 episodes over to the US.(Well, they did show episode 18 once, but they took out the best part.) And they completely messed up several of the movies. www.dogasusbackpack.tk/That site has comparisons of English episode to the original Japanese. It doesn't have all of them, but it's got alot.
