If the next Super Smash Bros. game wasn't a fighting title, what would you most like to see it become?
I'm personally in favour of Super Smash Bros. Racing. I can't think of an idea that better lends itself to the world of Super Smash Bros. than racing through the worlds of many Nintendo characters as Nintendo characters. Obviously some balancing would need to be done - Captain Falcon wouldn't be riding a full powered Blue Falcon, because that would mop the floor with Epona, or a Mario Kart.
Anyway, that's what I think. What do YOU think? Or if you don't want to talk about that, talk about how SSB Racing would be great ;D

SSB Racing would make Mario Kart kinda pointless.
How about this. "Super Smash Sims!" Watch as your Nintendo characters interact in a world where you play God.

Well, Fryguy, you had the exact same idea as me. I'd much sooner see Smash Bros. style games in place of all the Mario sports sims, too.
Super Smash Tennis! Super Smash Golf! Super Smash... um... Baking!
An RPG would be cool, too. But RPGs are usually story-driven, and I don't really see how it could make sense.
The other day I had an idea for a Pokémon-style game where you raise enemies from different Nintendo franchises, like Goombas, Metroids, Octoroks, etc. Though we don't really need more Pokémon clones...

Racing, definitely. It would be so much fun racing around Zebes or the Pikmin planet with all sorts of Nintendo characters. And the items! Endless possibilities. Imagine throwing a pikmin at Wario and him trying desperately to get it off as his car accidentally swerves into Link who hacks at him with a sword. I definitely want Nintendo to make this game  |

Mini-Games... kinda like Wario Ware, only 100% Nintendo all-stars. It's basically 8-Volt's genre in a complete game.

How about a game where you would have to choose between playing as either Samus, Fox or Captain Falcon? You would have to hunt for a bounty and face-off against the other two... Wait, I'm getting a deja-vu feeling.
I like SSB Racing idea. But it's hard to find methods of transportation for all characters. What could Zelda or Ness ride?

Not all the characters from SSBM would have to be racers. I wouldn't have thought Zelda should be in it anyway.... the others should be easy enough to think up.
MARIO - A Mario Kart (or his Double Dash car)
DONKEY KONG - A mine cart
LINK - Epona or King of Red Lions (with wheels!)
CAPT. FALCON - Blue Falcon, duh.
FOX - Converted Arwing
SAMUS - Converted Starship
NESS - Runaway Five bus, or a crazy car of some kind
RED/PIKACHU - Probably some car that looks like a Pokemon
WARIO - His ultimate pimp car
I'm sure more could be thought of. After all, Nintendo had to think of cars for all those Mario characters in Double Dash and managed it.

Hm. I wish I had something a bit more concrete, but I am thinking up a Super Smash Bros. RPG fan design...when I get farther along, I'll post it.

Or Red could ride the Zero-one from Pokémon Snap. And Fox could ride the Landmaster tank, or one of those hoverbikes from StarFox Adventures...
