Yes, a questionnaire again. It's about the Rev.
(1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?
(2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev?
(3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection?
(4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives?
(5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already?
And here's my answer: (1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii? Let's see... Ultra Famicom, Nintendo Future Computer (FC in short), Nintendo WR (Wireless Remote, like Nintendo DS, the name comes from a special feature), Nintendo TS (If we can call the handheld Dual Screen, then why not TV Screen? Not very creative, huh?)... etc
(2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev? First of all, a Nintendo developed TETRIS! I'm so addicted to that! Then, maybe a new type of DDR which, in addition to a dancing mat, requires specific hand movement. And then... a Donkey Konga game (Now the drums have sticks!) another multiplayer Zelda using REV-DS (or whatever) linking. I LOVE IT! a 2D Mario platformer. Just make it 2D. And multiplayer too. a minigame collection for the DS to download. It would be fun. Just look at Puzzle Collection. And finally... Kirby GC, revived on the Rev !!!!!
(3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection? More stability, less auto-reset, brighter screen (which the original GBA lack of), and finally... less language barrier (look at Zelda FSA, it lacks Navi Trackers on non-JP versions).
(4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives? OF COURSE! At least make Kirby GC possible.
(5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already? Well... I want the ability to play GB series (and Sega Saturn if possible), the slaughter of the USB ports (We don't need a computer, we need a game console), the revival of the GC ports (Who says that the Rev is fully compatible with the 128-bit beauty sleek?), a "DS player" - or at least a "GB/SGB/GBC player", and ... a free Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, which supports something besides Windows XP. I'm using Windows 2003, which (maybe) is too new.
A free demo sounds good too. make it something other than a Metroid Prime.

1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?
I don't know. I've always liked the Revolution. How about the Nintendo On? ;D
(2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev?
I'd love to see SEGA make Samba de Amigo on the Revolution. I never owned a Dreamcast, and heard that it was fun. Another thing I'd like to see is some PC ports. Warcraft, Civilization, Age of Empires, and a Sims that's more like it's PC counter part are all things on my list.
[i[(3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection?[/i]
I don't really expect to see much with the Rev-DS connection. Very few people used the Gamecube-GBA connection, and fewer still used effectively. I imagine a lot of the same things: exclusive content, but nothing that you really need.
(4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives?
Yes. I'm not going to buy a Rev for a while, so more Gamecube games would be nice.
(5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already?
I'd like to see more support for the Virtual Console. I'd like to see all of SEGA's games available and more companies putting their games on it.

(1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?Wi would have been better than Wii. Tii, Vii... I don't know. Anything, really. (2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev?Loads of brand new franchises. A Doshin game where you could manipulate the land directly, perhaps? (3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection?I would like all games that use connectivity to ONLY use it for optional game elements. I love Four Swords Adventures, but it did provide a fairly hefty expense to truly enjoy it the way it was meant to be played. (4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives?Aside from Twilight Princess? Not really. There doesn't seem to be a lot of point if the Revolution can play traditional styles of games as well. (5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already? An auto-name-changer.

1. Dunno. Revolution Entertainment System? 2. FPS. Lots of FPS possibilities. Any other franchise that isnt nintendo (for a change). And new franchises from nintendo themselves too (rather than a hundred versions of the same game, despite miyamoto stressing originality... meh) 3. Dont care really. 4. No. Let the old die. 5. The ability to connect old controllers.

1. I dunno. I really liked rev. NES 2 maybe?
2. A lightsaber game. How awesome would that be!
3.Downloadable demos, ability to transfer NES and SNES games to it, and expanded examples of connectivity seen on the Cube
4.Not really, seeing how most of my money will be poured into the Wii (shudder) and its accompanying games. The Cube had a good run though. It can die in peace. ;
5.All GameBoy games on the Virtual Console, downloadable demos and trailers via wifi (see xbox live), a better online experience (no more friend codes), confirmed ability to use external hard drives, and that this new secret is all its cracked up to be

(1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?I don't really know. There are a lot of names better than "Wii." How about turning it upside-down and calling it "M!!" (2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev?Eternal Darkness 2. Rogue Squadron IV. Star Tropics III. (3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection?Nothing, really. It doesn't sound like all that exciting of a feature. (4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives?Actually, yeah. I wouldn't mind if a "traditional" Nintendo console stuck around for a while. (5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already? You mean features? I always liked the idea of being able to rip your own MP3's and using them as your own custom soundtrack for certain games. Some X-Box games have had this feature, and I'd like to be able to do stuff like this on a Nintendo console.

1) Stop complaining about the name. Boohoo it sounds like urine. Waa-waa it sounds like a penis.; Blah blah blah who really cares.
That being said, I also hearted the name Go.
2) Anything and everything. Off the top of my head, a Mario Tennis game. Other than that, all the good Ninty franchise and a whole bunch of new ones. Plus the best 3rd party stuff. New Viewtiful; Joe, RE5, etc, etc.
3) Make it good and useful. If it can't be used well, don't use it. Simple.
4) Nope. No point. TP is the possible exception, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that it'll be out before the Wii.
...woah. I was so ready to type Rev in that sentence. So maybe it hasn't completely sunk in yet. But I do love Wii. Especially when it comes in so many fruity colours.
5) A monkey that makes pizza for you whilst dancing. Also, the monkey can transform into a Hoverbike. And also, the Monkey acts as a TiVo.
And the Monkeys name has to be Wiillij, simply because that looks so strange and awesome.

1) Revolution.
2) Donkey Kong Racing, Paper Mario 3, A decent pokemon game, a Duck Hunt sequel and more games in the vain of the SNES super scope games (eg Mole Patrol, Blastris).
3) More stability.
4) Yes as long it isn't a deluge of EA sports games or Mario Parties.
5) Metroid Prime/SSB 3 shots/videos and ability to play the GB back catalogue like the GB player.

Much like the name itself, the complaining (and bad jokes) are here to stay. Much like English-speaking people have been making jokes about the planet Uranus for years and will continue to do so for years to come.

(1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?Nintendo Nexus sounds cool. So does N5. Wii, though, has grown on me, and I can understand and see the logic behind it. No more "X-stations" or "Gameboxes" for this generation (2) What games, other than those suspected or confirmed, would you want to see on the Rev?I'd like to see a faithful Star Tropics revival, and a glorified rehash of Duck Hunt, using some crazy gun cradle for the controller. As for original games? A really in-depth fishing game, Point Blank or something like it, a general survival game, a nifty puzzler like Wetrix, and a really unique weapon fighter like Soul Calibur. Some cool take on a RPG that uses the Revmote would be great too, maybe where you click targets on the opponent to hit, or have to "draw out" spells by waving the remote. Not necessarily saying I'd *buy* all these in reality, but I would love to see, and own, them (3) What you you want to see about the REV-DS connection?Downloads for the DS, obviously, with demos and some other cool stuff. I can see them doing the Animal Crossing to GBA thing, where you download some Virtual Console games to your DS. I wouldn't mind being able to use the DS as a tablet for drawing in my Rev games, or to download movies and chat over the Rev's wifi. (4) Do you want to see more GC games after the Rev arrives? If the hardware still exists in the Wii, why not? It's obvious now that TP will be coming out with Wii, so it only makes sense for them to keep pumping out a few GC games here and there... at least 3rd parties, that is. Playstation went on for a good while after PS2 released. (5) What do you want to see on the Rev, other than those we've known already?Really cool cradles, but cheap ones at that. I really hope the shell is included from the box, but I doubt it. I don't want to spend full price for a stupid shell I can stick my remote in and play games "normally" with. Likewise, it would be cumbersome and annoying and expensive to have to buy the gun cradle AND the glove cradle AND the... fishing pole cradle or whatever all separately. Which I guess means there won't be too many shells actually made... but I digress. Internet. I wanna be able to surf the web, and use my DS as a makeshift keyboard.

The jokes ARE here to stay, but so is the name. I don't see any 'what would you have liked the SNES / SFC to be called' threads, yet we've got a 'Revolution' survey (Note: Revolution - not Wii) that asks what it "should" be called. I love people voicing their opinions, whether its positive or negative, and it should be noted that last night was the first time in a week and a hlf I'd been on the internet (except for 15 mins at an Internet cafe, where I found out the name myself (and hated it) so at that point I was sick of reading the constant bashing, but I still think it sounds quite good, and, even if it didn't, nothings gonna change. Its time to get use to it - we're gonna have a Wii this year.

To put a slight spin a famous Miyamoto quote, "A delayed [n]ame is eventually good, a bad [n]ame is bad forever." Anyway, I'm sure you'll get used to the complaining and bad jokes, but you don't have to like them.
